After being on the road for a good number of days, I really needed this place, and it exceeded my expectations. How often does that happen anymore? We knew nothing about the place but were road-weary, so we gave it a try. We were pleased. Very friendly, clean and safe. The breakfast provided was good and the staff was friendly. The furniture had a rusic home-made look.

I thought this place was a bargain and great value for the low price. Very clean, cosy, wood panelling interior walls. Comfortable bed. Roomy. Very friendly and helpful check-in. All the usual amenities like TV, Microwave, A.C. Heater... Blanding is a great jumping off point for many local sights the Newspaper Rock archaeological site, Bluff, Gooseneck State Park, Valley of the Gods, Edge of the Cedars State Park.

The hotel is obviously in need of some updating. There was nothing else available in town - and we only needed one night. I was suprised when entering the room- even though it’s old and needs some TLC the room was clean and the bed was comfy. BUT- After checking out I arrived at home 5.5 hrs later. I then Realized I left a sentimental necklace in the room- I have called 3 times and of course I am told it wasn’t found and I should check my luggage again!!! I know it’s my own fault- but, I guarantee if it was just a pillow they would have found it!! For this reason I will NEVER stay at a Rodeway again!! I thought honesty was the best policy!!
