Great family-run hotel & restaurant with excellent cuisine. The smoker evenings are a special highlight! From the starters to the main courses and desserts, your palate will be pampered. Everything is framed by an always friendly team and the warmth of the Schulz family.

Very pleasant country hotel with friendly staff and a courteous manager. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and is reasonably priced at EUR 10 compared to some other places. The rooms are very clean, tastefully furnished, nothing is missing. The food is TOP. The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings, but there is a 3-course menu for hotel guests to choose from. After 3 spread variations and a greeting from the kitchen, there was a very finely seasoned chanterelle soup. For the main course, I had some of the best herring I have ever eaten. The apple cream dressing was finely balanced, not overloaded with sauce. The herring was super tender and the fried potatoes were lightly fried with bacon, but not greasy. I will definitely come back, if only to eat à la carte in the restaurant.

The Landidyll Hotel Erbgericht in Wilthen, OT Tautewalde is rather inconspicuous, but impresses with its "inner values". Here you can see that the owner runs his hotel with heart and mind and all the friendly and polite employees see themselves as a team and part of the whole. We stayed in the rear building, which was obviously recently renovated and attractively decorated. There is a large garage for those traveling by motorbike and the landlord is happy to provide information about possible day trips. However, the hotel's own bicycles can also be rented for shorter trips. There is a lawn with fruit trees and loungers for relaxing. In the beautiful inner courtyard, which has been designed as a beer garden, you can eat outside when the weather is good. Breakfast already delights with regional specialties, good fruit juices, lovingly made fruit and yoghurt variations, fresh fruit, etc. But you should definitely eat there in the evening too, because this is where the second passion of the owner and his chefs is revealed. Rarely have you eaten so deliciously!!! This has already been noticed by "Gault Millau", which awarded the kitchen the rating "Excellent" in 2021 - and this with reasonable portions and reasonable prices! On selected evenings, the huge smoker grill is also in operation (if you are interested, just ask in advance). Overall rating - absolutely recommended!
