Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

Silom/Sathorn Bangkok|2.17km from Bangkok Education Office
I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!

My stay was great. The facilities were clean and the amenities were wonderful, especially the spa. All the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming as well. The breakfast was delicious, but options for vegetarians/vegans are few. Overall it was a great experience, but the real gem is definitely the charming concierge Coco. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, and our time in Bangkok unforgettable. He gave us great recommendations, went above and beyond to help us navigate the city, and also helped us arrange spa activities and laundry towards the end of our trip. My friend and I could truly relax and have a proper vacation thanks to Coco <3 Will be back!

Best hotel in Bangkok and great location for shopping near by the ICONSIAM mall. The room is clean and decent and also has a nice view of the river as you can see! The nice infinity pool is a plus, you can actually take a nap on the couch there with a warm breeze :) Oh the last one but not the least, breakfast was nice as well! Overall, this hotel gave me a good impression! Thank you.

I loved Tiny Taladnoi so much my 1 night stay turned into 5 nights. The people are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless, the breakfast is not just toast and coffee, lots of fresh fruit and different pastries. The free water refills, shower gel and shampoo are and added bonus. The Tiny Taladnoi is an easy walk from Hua Lamphong station and very close to Chinatown and the river where you can catch ferries most places you might want to go. I’ll be stay here again.
Four Sisters Homestay

Firstly, the booking under Four Sisters Homestay turned out to be in a mixed dorm which was a no, no for us two ladies (the info on trip.com did not state that this hostel ONLY has MIXED dorms so please be aware of this!) but the guy at Four sisters called the sister hostel which operates under the name, LOFTEL, which has all types of dorms and he transferred our booking to a female only dorm at LOFTEL HOSTEL without any hassle! He even walked us over to the LOFTEL HOSTEL and sorted out the change in booking without any further cost - what great service! So, my review is actually on the sister hostel called LOFTEL HOSTEL as that is where we ended up staying. So LOFTEL HOSTEL:- Excellent hostel! Great service, friendly and helpful staff! Rooftop lounge, restaurant - great food! Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Towel, shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer provided free. Loved the layout and setup of this hostel. Very close like 5 minute walk to Hua Lamphong train station and 10 minute walk to the ferry. Both the night and the day lady receptionists were very helpful explaining and showing us how to get around to the sights on the map. Five out of five stars!!

The service was great! Concierge was very helpful from the beginning until the end. Nat from the feast was friendly and nice, as well as Ron from the Giorgio’s italian restaurant. They were all warm and took care of us, made sure we are comfortable while dining. Will surely go back!
