RED PLANET SURAWONG is a 3-star hotel with a view of the Ritz-Carlton Maha Nakhon and downtown Silom and Sathorn. This is a busy area. What makes this property fun is the **** shop downstairs, Cloud Nine, and a cute 7 Eleven. The building also has 2 restaurants... Khua Kling Pak Sod and ??🤔
The rooms are comfortable enough. Tiny refrigerator. Hair dryer. Big flat screen tv. Housekeeping is a guy and a girl from Burma. They are pretty thorough with the cleaning.
I stayed for 7 days and was happy with the staff. Not perfect but they are young and training and learning. They seem to have a good heart❤️, though.

I absolutely love staying at Red Planet Surawong! The staff here are super friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. Plus, it's in a great location – really close to major shopping malls. It's also convenient because there’s an MRT station and two BTS stations nearby. But the best part? The rooms are really clean and completely bug-free. It's such a great place to stay!

Red Planet is a great place to stay. Totally smoke free. I was on the 7th floor and had a great view out my window. Room was very clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location. Bathroom was very clean. Would stay here again for sure and highly recommend it to other travelers.

This is my third stay in this hotel. The major plus point would be the location,near to silom and within a standard walking distance to the BTS. +/- 10-15 mins walk. There's 7 Eleven right under the hotel,lots of eateries and hawkers opposite the place. A good 20 minutes stroll to the Chao Phraya river. It's cheap and very clean. Good wifi,good shower. Definitely one of my go to hotels in Bangkok.

A good location in downtown Bangkok, within walking distance of the Silom Road night life, including Patpong night market - one of the best in the city. The hotel is clean and very good value for money, but with no breakfast option. Red Planet Surawong is next to the much more expensive Amara, which has a rooftop bar non-residents can enjoy.

#Good Value for Price and Location, but Hygiene Needs Improvement
I chose this hotel because of its great value for price and location, and even prepaid for my stay in October. However, when I stayed here in late June, I found the bed sheets to be not very clean as well as the room quite small, which made me quite uncomfortable. I tried to negotiate a full refund with the hotel but was refused, which left me a bit disappointed. I hope the hotel can improve its hygiene standards to provide a better stay for guests. And if accept my refund request, it would be prefect.
