Hotel Amber Sukhumvit 85

Great Hotel for a cozy and comfortable stay. Really good value for money, situated at a walking distance to OnNut BTS - there is a mall with a lot of eateries and coffee shops and a massive Lotus adjacent to the BTS. Will surely return here. The staff is very helpful - Paul, the manager on-site was kind enough to allow early check-in.

Good location but a bit far from On Nut BTS. Clean and Neat. Daily supply of 2 bottle mineral water in room.

I stayed 3 days with 2 friends, each of us occupied a Grand Delux Room on Jan 27. At about HK$285/day, we were very satisfied for spacious rooms, 1.5m beds (upon request), 9-minute walk to On Nut Station, a quiet and a low-rise surroundings, and a price competitive buffet breakfast (at an additional TB169). Guests may enjoy sunset and sunrise at the roof. Only to my disappointments, the bath room was only about 30x32 inches where a fatty would find difficulties to take showers; the towels were too used, a little torn and looked grey. A small tooth paste for 2 guests/room was below my expectation.

This is my 2nd time to stay here. All staffs are kind. Room is big.

Hotel is easily accessible just a few minutes walk from main road into Sukhumvit 85 and also any transportation including to Onnut BTS, spacey, cleanliness and amenities are sufficient, swimming pool and fitness on top floor with view of BTS passing by as well as car park are available too, staff both at front desk and cleaning are friendly and courteous

This is a really great hotel with attentive and friendly service all round. The bed is the comfiest I have ever slept in and the room is very spacious and clean. We didn’t pre-book breakfast through Trip, but you can just walk in and pay 150bht pp for a good selection of breakfast items including delicious Thai options and other more western items- cereal etc. The service again is excellent in the restaurant. People attend each day to clean your room and will work around your schedule. Even if we have not left the room until the afternoon, we would still return later to find fresh towels, bottles of drinking water in the fridge and the bed made up. The hotel is set back from any busy roads so you get peace and quiet but can access any where in the city very quickly - On Nut BTS station is just a 5 minutes walk away. The only very slight negatives would be that the pool is smaller than it appears in the pictures. However it is clean and perfect for a quick dip to cool off and as it is rooftop, there are great views over the city and beautiful sunsets from there. We also had a slight inconvenience when adding an extra night onto the booking. We were told at the time by the reception staff that breakfast was included in the price. However, we were told after having breakfast this wasn’t the case. This made the last night more expensive than the nights we booked through Trip.com . Overall would definitely recommend this place!

Love this hotel. Comfy bed and I love the breakfast as well but a little secret it’s a bit cheaper to pay 159baht in person then buying on trip.com in RMB.
