Very happy of my stay here, well placed near the beaches, My room was comfortable and well equipped, refrigerator, boiler, safe, shoes, bathroom with shower, a real 3 stars, small swimming pool on the floor, very clean, well-made household, Calm, in contrast to exquisite WiFi, not counting on it, no breakfast , no food, superb indoor, low price, very interesting.

Wayan, thankyou very much for all your efforts. You made this our favourite stay in Bali. We have been to Bali many times and found Semerandana to be fantastic. Awesome location, eady access to the beach and the main road for all the restaurants, mini-mart, and money exchange. All the staff were amazing and a special shout out to Okie. He was wonderful and a true asset to have. The breakfasts were great. Okie you did the best mie and nasi gorengs, and the better half loved the noodle soup. The omelette and scrambled eggs were a treat. Sorry we didn't try the pancakes but might have a go next time. You could get a bintang at the pool. Pool was lovely. Laundry can be done right next door. Bed was so comfortable. The studio apartment was spacious and clean, had a good kitchenette and good bathroom. Robe was a decent size so you didn't have to live out of your suitcase. Loved everything about this place, we will definitely be back. See you soon!! From Jon and Cath and 👽 Cliffy. 9.5/10

The hotel is very convenient . Around a lot of cafes, tour desks, up to the sea 20 minutes without a hurry . The room itself is quite simple , but the price is not expensive . The bathroom needs a replacement of the plumbing. Very much of the raid. The toilet is not separated from the shower. After taking the shower water is everywhere . The air conditioner works well. Next to the boat stations . It is easy to go to Penidu or the Guilly Islands... breakfast is bad .

Is very close to Sanur Beach and there is a night market just behind it, with tasty local food! I'm not a fan of this place, but the price is quite cheap.... and it is because lacks maintenance and cleaning. There is a small swimming pool but I didn't use it

Logement sympa autour d’une belle piscine. Le personnel est au petit soin. Très bon rapport qualité / prix!

Very nice rooms with daily cleaning and bed-making. Wayan is awfully friendly and helpful. His wife provides a nice breakfast with fruit, coffee, tea, etc. Wayan homestay is very central: 300 m from the beach, short by the shopping street and the various dining facilities at walking distance. The evening market is also short. I look forward to come back here again. Thank you for your good care.

More about Bali

Introduction to Bali

Bali, an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, and stunning beaches, is the country's most famous tourist destination. Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.

Popular Attractions in Bali

Bali offers a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Explore the ancient temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, or immerse yourself in the artistic heritage of Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary for unique experiences.

Bali's beaches are equally enticing, with Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua Beach offering vibrant beach life. Surfing enthusiasts will love the waves at Uluwatu and Canggu.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures fairly consistent year-round. The best times to visit are during the dry season, from April to October. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen to protect from the sun. Also, remember to dress modestly when visiting temples.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Bali

For luxury beachfront accommodation, consider the Legian Bali or the W Bali in Seminyak. In Ubud, the Hanging Gardens of Bali offers a unique luxury experience with its Instagram-famous infinity pool.

For budget travelers, the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud offers comfort and excellent service. The Dash Hotel Seminyak, with its eclectic and colorful design, is an Instagram-worthy stay.
