Taman Sari Cottages

Kuta Bali|0.2km from Bali4ride
The location is relatively close to Kuta Beach. The hotel is in a lane, there are many warung shops around to buy cheap food, and there are also large restaurants on the main road. The facade is not luxurious, the room design is Balinese spire style, the pool room environment is ok, the room looks a bit old after entering the door, and it is a bit dark with insufficient sunlight. The bedding and towels were dirty and yellowed, so we only scored 3 points. We brought our own towels, and we wore pajamas for sleeping. It is recommended that the hotel can change to a new batch, otherwise it will affect the comfort of the stay. There is no refrigerator or kettle in the room. Staff can be used to use it. Disposable toothbrushes and small soaps are provided. No toiletries are required. Please bring your own. The temperature of the bath water is quite good, and sometimes the water pressure is a little small. The wifi room is not available, you can sit outside the room or by the pool. The wifi is quite normal, and it is quite comfortable to watch the mobile phone. The room rate includes a simple breakfast: 2 slices of bread with butter and jam, an omelette, a small plate of fruit, coffee or tea. There are not many things, which is suitable for the rhythm of filling our stomachs in the morning, washing and going out. The staff are very friendly and will greet each other when they see it. If there is a problem or need, it will be resolved quickly. This is our last one in Bali for 18 days. We stayed for 2 and a half days. Generally speaking, the location and value for money are good. Apart from the strong suggestion to replace with new bedding and towels, there is nothing special to ask. After all, the house price is quite affordable, and it can be used as a midnight flight.

We stayed at this hotel last minute as we had to move from an awful filty hotel. All staff were very helpful and friendly, basic hotel but clean and tidy and in a good location. If you expect to drink here after 9.30 pm be warned the bar closed before 10 pm in the evening but there are plenty other places to eat and drink. Great hotel for the money, would recommend.

We stayed at the Fave hotel in Kuta in September 2022. We used it as a place to fill in a few ours before our flight. The hotel is overall very good value at just $23 pn. The only thing we could really fault was the rooftop pool and bar was not up and running at this point. The room has no balcony or small fridge. The place has a nice vibe and was clean and cheerful. The restaurant at the front is a good location to sit, have a cold drink and watch everyone go by. It's right next door to a big Resort so the facilities can easy be used there for just a $10 visitor fee.

I have a lot of heat in my body. The air conditioner is like a fan. Australians smoking cigarettes in the swimming pool Where does cigarette ash go? The people working at the hotel didn't say anything. I'm really disappointed. I really don't understand how you can go into the swimming pool and smoke. Is it a drink? It looks like the group drank all the alcohol, wiped it off with pool water, and smoked. When I saw that, it came out right away.

Arrived early in the morning, the front desk is more enthusiastic, but does not speak English. The homestay is not very big, but it feels very clean and the air-conditioning is great. The next day I saw hotel staff spraying water everywhere in the yard, which made the yard very clean and tidy. The breakfast is relatively simple, but you can eat enough to eat well. There are Indonesian fried noodles and fried rice. My mother likes the fried noodles very much. The taste is great. When I arrived, the front desk said that breakfast would start at 7 o'clock. Because I needed to go to Lembongan Island at 7 o'clock the next morning, I asked another front desk staff member, hoping to prepare breakfast to take away, but the front desk staff said that breakfast would start at 8 o'clock. Two front desk staff The argument is inconsistent, and I was so impatient to waste a day in a room with breakfast.

Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.
