Hotels near Kamuikotan in Asahikawa

The location is great with AEON and many restaurants nearby, JR station is also within walking distance. Too bad there's no free parking from the hotel but there's a few choices of paid parking areas around the hotel, the parking area without roof opposite hotel is cheaper than the one in the building. Sleep wear and deodorize spray are provided. Public bath is clean. All the basic amenities are provided. Clean, new and well maintained hotel. Overall happy with my stay here.

Very convenient location since it is near JR station and shopping district. Driving distance to attractions range from 20 mins to 1 hour. Amenities such as face oil,, toner, cream, tea bags, coffee drops bags, toothpaste and toothbrush are readily available at hotel lobby at no extra charge.

Rooms are clean, in moderate size. Location is right in front of Asahikawa JR station, and there are many lines of commute bus that direct to all main tourist spots. The only negative image of this place came from this lady staff in the restaurant during breakfast time. She has a very mean attitude to those who does not speak English/Japanese, a bit discriminatory I would say. The lady staff was standing by the exit to guide you. When my parents walked out after eating, she stopped them and call them over to the place where we can return the food tray. She checked all trays while ask them to wait, and found one with a table sign on it. Then she immediately start to blaming on my parents without listening to them nor did she try to communicate patiently. Although this was a total misunderstanding after I checked with my parents and figure out that it was someone else who mistakenly put the sign in the food tray (it’s suppose to be flipped on the table when you finish eating) afterwards. The lady start talking nicely to me because I speak English and a bit Japanese, but her attitude and tone to my parents was absolutely rude.

I originally liked route inn the most in the business hotel chain. If you are traveling alone, you don't have to be so careful. Japan is grateful that clean business hotels are developing to medium-sized cities. However, in Honshu, route-in is often difficult to use by rail (car location), but in Hokkaido, route-in is often in front of the station, so it is easy to use. When you leave Asahikawa Station, which creates a comfortable space with plenty of trees, you can't get lost because the route in front of Grand Asahikawa Station rises in front of you. On the left side of the station, there is also an AEON MALL equipped with a cinema complex, so you can enjoy buying souvenirs, buying travel supplies, and watching road show movies on your travels. The good thing about the route inn is that you can watch paid satellite broadcast WOWOW for free on the TV in the room. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. It is not open 24 hours on the first floor (business hours 7:00 ～ 22:00, closed on January 1), but there is a convenience store ”Seiko Mart” with many supporters in Hokkaido. The lobby on the front floor is very large. After checking out, I adjusted the time here because I had a little time to get on the train. Isn't it convenient to meet in Asahikawa, which is exceptionally cold in winter? People may have different tastes, but I can sleep well in the route-in bed. I think it's because it's not fluffy. It depends on the location of the room, but from the room I stayed, I could see the train departing and arriving at Asahikawa Station. There is Tenjinkyo natural hot spring ”Traveler's Hot Spring” on the 17th floor of the top floor. The big bath stretches your legs and heals the fatigue of the trip. I entered twice at night and in the morning. The hotel has a large communal bath of another major hotel chain in Hokkaido, and the rooms have only a r shower booth, but it is also good to have a bathroom with a bathtub properly. It's not a special luxury hotel, but I think it's the best hotel as a business hotel. I think it can be used for business, sightseeing and multipurpose purposes. Next time, if you have a chance to come to Asahikawa, this is the hotel you want to choose first.

I think it's an old hotel, but it seemed recently refurbished. Hence, the room is modern! Though the room comes standard with a triple-double, it could comfortably accommodate another bed for 4 persons. The bathroom is spacious.

It is a short walk from JR Asahikawa Station, and there are several convenience stores around. The size of the room is not small for the price, and the minimum amenities are available. Considering that, I think Cospa is also good. But something unprecedented happened that I had never experienced before. I went sightseeing for a few hours after checking out, so when I tried to leave my luggage, I was refused. First experience using more than 100 business hotels. I was stunned by shock.

It is a hotel newly built by the route in hotel group in the past, not buying other capital hotels. An old type of room has a TV at the top of the window desk (the latest type is a type of seat in a bench type chair toward the TV on the opposite wall of the TV). The room I stayed in seems to be changing the wallpaper, but the closet is full of wounds and feels old. It is not an auto lock, so it is important to lock when going out. There is a new route inn nearby (in front of Asahikawa Station) and be careful not to make a mistake. Considering the difference in the accommodation fee, the oldness of the facilities is acceptable. I think the cospa is good. It is a hotel fierce battle area and there is a business hotel chain, so choose your favorite hotel. Unfortunately, due to business trips during the declaration of emergency, the surrounding restaurants will only be closed for short business hours and dinner will go to the ion mall nearby (walk ４～５ minutes?). Because there are few guests, I feel that the number of breakfast buffet dishes has decreased since before.

We had some problems getting to the hotel, as Google maps insisted on pointing us to another deserted building down the street (which also had a sign Takasago onsen). Once we got in, it turned out nobody at the reception spoke any English, luckily one of the other guests who was just checking in volunteered to interpret. It turned out that they wanted to notify us that the AC in our room was broken (it was 35 degrees outside). After refusing to accept that room, they gave us another room with a working AC. The hotel itself is very similar to other big spa hotels we stayed in, reasonably comfortable rooms, big buffet meals, but the quality of the food was so so, but the highlight of the place was the onsen, with about 10 inside pools and a nice outside jacuzzi. I guess that was the big attraction for all the tourist groups.

Accommodation for family. The meal is a better impression than the price in the morning and evening. It is a large bath, but because of the day trip OK, locals and camping cottages continue 々 night １０, so you can't slow down if you don't come out early in the morning because you come to take a bath. It's a public inn, so it's not possible, but if you care about the local people, it's better to make the cost of bathing in several private rooms to make a bath for the guests. At night ８ I was a little joking with my child at the time, and I complained and the front desk came at ８ halftime. I didn't visit to confirm early time of family accommodation for consecutive holidays. One-sided point. I ran around in a slower time, but I didn't point out that there was no revisit.

The transportation is convenient, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Asahikawa Station. The bathing environment is very clean and comfortable, the temperature of the hot spring is not high, the additional services are very good, and there are ice products for bathing. There is also a midnight snack. Delicious, but average in the room.
