酒店在一個大院內，環境很好，在房間裏可以看到遠處的山，安靜。安遠縣城不大，經濟不算髮達，但街道整潔乾淨。晚上在賓館的餐廳用餐，味道不錯。去到中心區域的民俗古街，規模不小，可惜好多鋪面都關門了。
