3HB Guarana - All Inclusive

This was the first holiday me and my partner had been on since his two strokes, and it did not disappoint! From the minute we walked through the door we were blown away by this little piece of paradise. Everything was clean, rooms were comfy, staff were helpful, facilities were great. Entertainment was good and The Crazy Show was hilarious! We also loved how accessible the hotel was as it’s hard to find somewhere so good for this. There were ramps all around the hotel and lifts to the rooms and various floors. The best part was the ramp into the pool, meaning my partner was able to go in the water, which was wonderful! Couldn't have asked for a better holiday and can’t put into words how much we enjoyed staying at this hotel! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed an incredible week here in October half term. The staff on reception were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were fortunate to have a room in the family block which was only 2 storeys high so no issue with waiting for lifts etc as could use stairs. Facilities were amazing. Pool bar, snack bar, sports bar, main bar and the restaurants. My son was in his element in the sports bar watching every football or rugby game showing in the evenings. As others have said the pool outside isn’t heated, so quite chilly. We did have a dip but didn’t stay in too long. Sun beds in the swimming pool were nice. Just a shame bit cold to sunbathe there. The indoor pool is nice (and heated!) but got very busy as people wanted to be warm and it’s only small. Sun beds were plentiful. Could always find one, no reserving at all. Which was great.Several self service drink stations for on tap wine, beer and soft drinks. The Portuguese cider was lovely. As were the cocktails and mocktails. Staff in bars were so friendly, attentive and pleasant. Thank you for introducing my husband to White Port - he loved it! Entertainment staff tried hard to put on things for the adults and parents but not pushy if you don’t want to join in. Enjoyed the water aerobics/ dancing. Good fun. The rooms were light, comfortable and airy. Small fridge in room - although ours didn’t work. No kettle in room but we had read this on reviews and took our own travel mugs and kettle so wasn’t a problem. Beds and sofa bed were comfortable and family room worked well for us and our 11 & 14 year old sons. Apar**ents clean and new towels provided daily. Free water also provided. Left in room and additional can be requested at reception. The food - main restaurant has a huge range of food available. Always a fresh pizza bar, pasta bar to keep the kids happy. But lots of lovely meats, fish, rice dishes, roast potatoes and vegetables. Lovely choice of desserts too, definitely best all inclusive food we have had. Piping hot plates means food warm too! We preferred opting to eat outside as found indoors too noisy and enjoyed hearing the outside musicians playing whilst eating. The snack bar throughout day provided wraps, sandwiches, toasties, burgers, fruit and cake if you feel peckish in between meals at all. We also ate in the Oriental restaurant- wow sushi heaven! Sushi is our kid’s favourite and their eyes lit up at the beautiful display. The oriental food was lovely, meats, fish dishes, spring rolls etc. Being a smaller restaurant was much quieter and more peaceful- do advise booking early as slots do fill up quickly. The Mediterranean restaurant was our favourite- grilled meats, fish, lovely sauces. Delicious! Whilst away it was my husbands birthday. The receptionist arranged for a chilled bottle of Prosecco to be in our room when we got back from day out. There was also a lovely hand written card. Really pleasantly surprised by this hotel, check in was good, room was good, shame about the pillows! Most of the staff were great, some of the restaurant staff could have tried harder. The food was possibly the best all inclusive we have had. Oriental restaurant was poor in our eyes. The hotel was always very clean. Entertainment was a mixed bag. The shows put on by the entertainment teams were poor, the Abba tribute night was appalling. The fence on the walkway to the child's play area was falling down and dangerous. The biggest problem was the outside pools, far too cold even for our kids, for a family hotel, it should be heated to a certain level. Inside pool was ok but stuck in a dingy basement. Overall, great stay but we wouldn't return due to the pools, such a bit part of a holiday like this and when they cant be used, its a real shame.

I am an experienced traveller. I have visited all the Balearic's, all the Canaries, Cuba and Mexico on several occasions and Bulgaria last October. I always stay all inclusive. The 3HB Guarana is without doubt the best hotel and all inclusive package I have ever experienced. I cannot fault it in anyway, shape or form. Cleanliness 5* Food - Superb. Plenty of choice, fresh and delicious. A credit to all the catering staff. Drinks - Absolutely top class, plentiful and served by fantastic staff. Entertainment team - So very near your goal of No1# but the DJ who plays at the beach bar some nights needs to realise he is not there to entertain himself and the volume he plays his choice of music is to loud. Some guest have children in bed and others are trying to take a siesta before the evenings real entertainment begins. Other than that you would be No 1# A very big thank you to all the staff, both in front of house and those behind the scenes, who made this holiday so very special. I will not signal out any one of you because this is a team effort that is working so well. Please keep it up. Would I go again? All ready looking to take all my family before the year is out. Absolutely outstanding location, value and if anyone can find fault they either expect too much or are complaining about issues caused by others who have no consideration or respect for their fellow guests. Don't let your fun spoil other peoples. Manners and consideration cost nothing but are priceless. Once again to each and every member of staff a massive well done and thank you. See you soon XXXX

Lovely hotel, trendy rooms, balcony small, a la cartes great, buffet also fab. Unfortunately a few things fell short for us. Pool temperature we're freezing. It tells you daily temps, arrived 3.5.24 for a wkd with my 10 yo. We tried every pool and all of them were exceedingly cold for us. 18.8 degrees on the Friday, 19.9 on the Saturday even the indoor pool was 27 degrees. I raised it with the pool guy testing the water and he agreed. UK waters in our summers maybe down South are 13 degrees. Apparently they are not heated. Unsure if or when the heat them up. This would be fine in the height of there summer but I'm really petite so it was really unpleasant. Also no inflatables apparently Spanish law changed and deemed unsafe for fear of drowning. Download Bolt app for private taxi's dirt cheap compared to Jet 2 or Green n Yellow ones. Went to old town Albufera thought it was pretty dirty, full of loud pubs etc. Should have opted for Villamouria. Also try for a high floor if your a light sleeper and pool side as alot quieter. Got a spa trea**ent with my daughter as they do kids massages, she was over the moon.

The hotel massively over delivered to what we expected. When we arrived our room was ready for us even though we arrived early on in the day (11am). The room was modern and very clean. Good tv channels for my young son which helps when you are trying to get them to rest out of the sun. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and overlooked the whole of the resort as well as the ocean. When we arrived we were told that there was a brand new children’s pool that had opened next to the splash park. This was a life saver!!! It’s about 20cm deep so even the smallest of children can walk/paddle around in it and there are plenty of sunbeds for the parents too. A nice addition to it would be a basket in which you could leave unwanted pool toys in when it was time to leave the resort so other children can use and play with them. The pools we didn’t find too cold and was very refreshing as the temperature was close to 28 degrees everyday. Our only disappoin**ent was that the pool Bar wasn’t open at this time of year. We found the food to be a fantastic standard. As all inclusives go this is up there with one of the best we’ve visited. The selection isn’t massive but the quality made up for it. Food was always available as the snack bar hours are basically all day which was amazing. Our only minor complaint is that maybe the food times could all be bought forward by 30 minutes. With a 1 year old it was hard sometimes keeping him happy until the meal times. The only major issue we faced was the lift situation. There are 4 lifts for the entire hotel and they only fit roughly 4 people in each. It wasn’t uncommon for us to be waiting 15-20 mins for a lift which we could fit in with a pram. Majority of the time we reverted to carrying the pram down 6 flight of stairs. Also due to the wood being so new round the children’s pool do watch out for splinters. Myself and child would get daily splinters from flaky bits of wood. Overall this hotel is a huge bargain and we definitely would come back in a heartbeat. If your considering going then do it as you will not be disappointed.

The 3HB Guarana is a fantastic hotel! The moment you enter and see the beautiful view of the pool, then greeted by the lovely staff, you see how special this hotel is. Everything is immaculate. The rooms are spacious and have plenty got water, big comfy bed, plenty of hanging space and drawers, powerful shower, hairdryer, fridge and free safe. The food at all of the 3 restaurants is wonderful. We found a great selection at breakfast and dinner at the main buffet restaurant. We are at the Oriental twice as it was so good! Sushi was amazing, as was the everything else. The Mediterranean restaurant was lovely too, very spacious with a nice relaxed vibe. Mainly meat, so veggies won't enjoy it as much. The snack bar restaurant is open from 12 till 7pm and we ate there every day for lunch. Their filled rolls wraps and toasted sandwiches were gorgeous. I love sweet potatoes fries, which they also had every day! The pool was very cold on the first day, but the weather wasn't as hot. Once the temperature was higher, the pool wasn't as cold and I went to the aqua fit, which was great fun! The entertainment staff are simply amazing, they do such a great job! They organise activities all day and then dance and entertain the kids at night. The entertainment at night was really good. The Comedy show, Glow party and magician were the best nights! The live music was good too. I'm not against kids, but I think that after their disco is finished that they should leave and leave the adults to their entertainment. It's like a nursery, with loads of kids running around and making a racket, while the entertainers are trying to do their thing. This is the only negative thing I have to say about the hotel. If you do have kids though, it's amazing for them! The kids play area is fantastic, with the very shallow pool and sunbeds area above where the pool bar is. With the entertainment, as I said, is totally geared towards families with kids. There's an arcade area, with retro games, pool, air hockey etc and an astro turf for football, which was really popular. So there's plenty for kids of all ages. Can't fault the hotel at all! We'llbe back next year for sure! The staff are all so friendly, helpful and professional. Great hotel and great staff. It just needs a competent catering manager. The quality of the food is good, it’s just rarely hot. You end up hanging around to see what’s coming out next and that’s not always hot either. If they get a microwave I will definitely be back. Couples be aware, it is a bit like a crèche with lots of babies and toddlers as it caters well for them 🤔🤔
