Comfortable stay, location is good right in heart of orchard for shopping. Crossed the bridge to far east plaza and bought the chicken rice at level 5. Voucher is worth it as we have late check out and free upgrade to premier room with access to lounge that has free flow coffee, drinks and biscuits. Room 1506 is quite ok, door hinges a bit worn out, view from room is opposite carpark

the location is so good, walking distance to many places esp for supper. a little surprised at how small the room is but overall a clean and comfy stay! would love to come back again. major love for the gym which is open 24/7, and really cute complimentary birthday treats. no complimentary parking though. but we managed to get a generous late checkout, overall a pleasant stay☺️

Location of the hotel is the best, easy to get around since the mrt is just underground! The wall of the room maybe too thin or because I'd stay on the 5th floor where there fitness and swimming pool on the same floor, I could here walking, door slamming early in the morning. Other than that the hotel is great with lovely and friendly staffs!

My wife and two children have a two-room apartment for the Spring Festival holiday. The hotel is upgraded to three rooms for free. Very good accommodation experience. Suitable for big family vacation. The location is quiet. A few minutes walk is the Orchard Road Commercial Street, and the subway and public transportation are very convenient. There are too many choices in Shaw and Ion underground within 5 minutes of walking out to eat, from Bak Kut Teh Hainanese Chicken Rice to Spicy Hot Pot. There is also a supermarket downstairs in Shaw, life is very convenient. The kitchen is very large, with a full set of kitchen utensils and utensils, but unfortunately we were so busy playing around and didn't open the fire ourselves. Also awesome was the washer dryer. The children in the swimming pool really like it. The staff are also amazing, and the drinks and snacks in the fridge are free. My wife posted a photo of the hotel to Moments. Several friends are asking for the name of the hotel when they plan to go on vacation in Singapore.

Service: can be better. check in on a saturday but was told there was a high volume of occupantancy and had to check in later after 4pm (came around 230-3pm). Was quite disappointed on that, but asked if we could check out later and they gave us an hour later check out. oh and the reception was crowded with tourist when we arrive, felt quite choatic, might be just weekend things (?) and touristy area Despite that, they managed to store our baggage while we roam around orchard, and also help carry them up into our room. Room was well kept, interior is great and cool esp with the balcony. Enjoy the esspresso machine and water dispenser as well. They promote sustainbility in terms of having the choice to reuse towels and place them at a designated area so housekeeping wont replace them. although room seemed small but its quite spacious, enough for two people to enjoy comfortably. Only went to the pool area and it was cool too, very picturesque. Quite worth to stay once as a local but for tourists, would be a good place to stay with families :)

I just don't like the bathtub only have had glass cover. When showing, all water split out, and make the floor wet. And the toilet looks so old. Except thus, everything is good.

The hotel was convenient and you can get access to the city centre - Orhard Road easily. The staff of the hotel were generally helpful and friendly. However, the facilities of the hotel are so-so. I booked a room with a queen bed but they offered me 2 twin beds. The room had no view outside and it's just an empty area. Then the first room had water leakage in the toilet and I almost slipped on the floor. The whole floor was wet and I didn't feel comfortable. It made my slippers always wet. At night, the water ran loudly in the drain and it was noisy. I couldn't sleep well for the first night. The next day, I requested changing the room. They changed it immediately-quite helpful. In fact, I found the pantry area and the corners near the mirror as well as the door frame for both rooms were dusty and very disgusting. I myself cleaned the crucial areas so that I can use the facilities at ease. The carpet was not well cleaned and I still found hair on the floor and the bath tub after coming back to the hotel. Fortunately, the beds looked clean. Besides, the water dispenser is not user-friendly. It didn't work well. I gave up finally. I would rather use the kettle instead. Apart from this, I find the quality of the slippers is very bad. It's very easy to be torn. It's torn even on the first day. In my opinion, they should put a staff outside the hotel near the bottom of the flight of stairs. This is because when I arrived, I didn't know that I could use the lift on the left hand side to arrive the reception area. Then I had to carry the huge suitcase myself from the bottom of the flights of stairs to the top of the staircase. No staff was there to help and they should put a notice to tell customers that they could use the lift to enter the hotel lobby. The lift is NOT OBVIOUS at all. Finally, I should say that the breakfast buffet was not worth the price. The food was not tasty. They should have more varieties for the breakfast especially for those who stayed for a longer time. It has made me feel bored after 3 days. Also, I think if they put more decorations at the reception area, that'd be better. I felt like I was standing at a clinic counter. *You can see the picture I posted showing the flight of stairs are quite long especially when you have a big suitcase to carry. There was NO ONE to help.

1) When we checked in, we were told we could enjoy a 20 percent discount from the hotel's restaurants. We ate therefore at Jiang Nan Chun, the Chinese restaurant of the hotel ( total bill S$242), and the next day, at Nobu Japanese restaurant ( total bill- around $402). When we checked out, however, the discount was not given, even if the restaurant's waiter told us that the discount would be given upon check out from the hotel. ( The total amount spent on the two restaurants was S$645!) 2) The most shocking thing was that the flush of the towel bowl did not work on Sunday, May 26. We used the flush but the water was overflowing and the feces were floating about. So we tried to pour water into the toilet bowl three times by using the waste can of the toilet to fill it full with water to flush the toilet but still to no avail. Finally, we had to ask for help from the hotel staff to solve the problem. The hotel staff later gave us a plate of fruits and a short letter of apology for the inconvenience caused.

This is my 2nd stay here, for my birthday this year! Always loved how the location is convenient and it has everything I need for a simple but satisfying stay. Everything was great, I got upgraded to the 24th Floor 🥹🥹! Only slight downside was that the door had to be pushed really, REALLY hard to close / open it (it won't close properly). Not a huge nuisance but I do have to use my whole body weight to close the door lol. And there were dust bunnies in the gaps where the door lock (the black latch) is. I had to wipe that down myself. Besides these, the stay was comfy and great! Thank you once again! :)

Grand Copthorne Hotel Singapore offers a truly delightful stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the luxurious amenities in the room, every aspect exceeded my expectations. The hotel's central location made exploring the city a breeze, and the stunning views of the Singapore River were an added bonus. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a memorable experience. I highly recommend Grand Copthorne Hotel for an unforgettable stay in Singapore.

Hotel is spacious and clean. We managed to get a free upgrade upon checking in when there are no double beds available on a Saturday afternoon. We managed to get a quiet room in the corner. Here to celebrate my birthday, but have to call a few times before our call gets answered. The complimentary cake was sent up upon our second call after 30 mins of wait. Perhaps it’s a weekend & the staff were busy. To be fair, the time allocated to send the cake was 5-7pm but we were too hungry and went out to explore and came back at about 7.35pm. As we booked our stay via Trip, check out was hassle free. Location wise, it is really convenient as it is just opposite Chjmes and Raffles City and in between Bras Basar stations and City Hall Station. All within 5 mins walking distance. It’s a nice hotel to unwind and relax as the beds were comfy with ample pillows. I was well rested.

One of our favorite hotel stays (relative to price point) in Singapore! The room was huge and clean and neat, the housekeeping staff were clearly professionals and took pride in their work. The check in and check out processes were a breeze. (The hotel staff didn't mention it during our check-in, but we suspect they upgraded us to a bigger room!) There were also a lot of amenities at the hotel, from the waterfall lounge (drinks with a view) to a quaint cafe (wildseed) to a furniture store (crane living). The hotel is also in a good location albeit a short distance away from Havelock mrt. Easy access to orchard/clarke quay/chinatown. Amenities do not come with bottled water and bedroom slippers. 10/10 would come back here to stay again.

First time trying this hotel for a staycation with my gf.. the location is great with alot of nice food choices around and while room in itself is pretty big and nice, my main issue is that the aircon seems to be stuck at 24.5 degrees the whole night and cannot be adjusted which made the whole stay rather uncomfortable and pretty hot. The pillows are also not really that comfortable as well. If the aircon issue was better and the room wasn't as hot the whole night, it would have been alot better. as it stand, there are probably better choices for this price range so I probably wouldn't be keen to come back again which is kinda a bummer cos the location is good and the room is pretty nice at the end..

I love how the hotel building is integrated with greeneries. Upon checking in, initially they gave us a wrong room. Called the concierge and they were able to send someone up with the new keys to the room! Shortly after checking in, the concierge called us to check in on us if everything is perfect, they also wished me on my anniversary and sent up a written card, a slice of cake and a box of chocolate! A few hours later we also called for extra pillows and toiletries, they were able to send it up quickly. The next morning we had buffet breakfast downstairs at the Lime restaurant. The spread was wide and we were spoilt for choices. Overall we had a really comfortable stay and the service is top notch! Everything is so well thought out. So if you’re thinking to book this hotel, think no more, just do it. You will not be disappointed :D 100/10 will come back again!

Positives - Lovely room design - 55 inch tv - very comfortable bed and pillows - Smart room with light and ac controlled via electronic panel or through your phone (app) *can also use the app to open the door and select floor via the lift - ceiling fan gives the room a resort feel - foldable table gives one the option to make the table bigger or smaller - wardrobe is interesting ( has doors on both sides, the other side being the toilet. Allows one to take items from the wardrobe without leaving the toilet.) - bed side usb ports and wireless charging - Bluetooth speakers - see though toilet and placement of tub allows one to soak and watch tv simultaneously - Appelles Apothecary bath amenities smelt lovely - Front desk was extremely accommodative and proactive - pretty decent club environment and food choice for both dinner and breakfast. Club also allows children and not strict on attire Negatives - Sound insulation not the best - no proper work table and chair may be an issue for some - tv unable to be turned makes it very awkward to watch tv when sitting on the sofa - lack of media port makes it inconvenient to access hdmi ports of the tv - no Chromecast - limited international tv channels - cistern next to shower area is awkward positioning - shower water pressure can be higher. Same for tub. Tub took a long time to fill - water temperature can be higher too. Not quite hot enough - dreaded ame toothpaste

Booked the harbor view room for a short staycation. The room is not cheap but the view made it all worth it. It was raining the first day so we could not use the pool. But the second day, we were able to use the swimming pool. Location is very strategic. Plenty of shopping malls nearby and places of attraction were easily within walking distance.
