I survived my first impression and had a nice stay. On my day-one scouting walk, almost everything nearby was closed, including most of the advertised restaurants. When I factored in the impact of limited travellers because of pandimic restrictions, however, my concerns were eased. The microbrew bar was closed, but the restaurant served their IPAs. The food was good and affordable. The grounds were quite nice and the staff friendly. The fitness room was good. A vending machine substituted for restaurants for afternoon snacks and late-night beers. On our last night, we were invited to the small town 5 minutes away and discovered a charming haven of restaurants and coffee shops, many with an ocean view. Next time, I'll head there right away!

We stayed here for two nights whilst exploring Tianya. It is very well located along the main street where all the restaurants and bars. Even to walk to the far side of the street is no more than about 15 min walk. The hotel has a slight independent hostel vibe and the receptionist was very helpful. She spoke no English and our Chinese is pretty non existent but that isn't an issue as wechat can be used to easily communicate. The room was very nice and looks as advertised. My only issues are that the room said it had a roof terrace, but in my mind a roof terrace should only be accessible through the room, but it was actually just the public space outside the room, so anyone can access it. Plus, this roof terrace had no nice chairs to sit out on, rendering it fairly useless. Finally, I would stay again but I do think the price is too high for what it really is but other than that it makes for a good base in Tianya and is right next to the beach.

Breakfast was American style and I included a picture for reference. Rooftop had a wonderful view over entire beach and sea. During sunset, the weather is so refreshing and windy. It was great to have a cup of tea/coffee on rooftop - [ ] Staffs: All of them were so friendly and welcoming you. They were very responsive and helpful. Among all wonderful staffs, Mr. Ivan was the one who speaks English and very nice to me. - [ ] Room: It was clean and fully automatic/smart but Bcos I can’t speak Chinese, I couldn’t use voice control system. There was a room service everyday. They arranged with me before the cleaning. They provided clean towels, shampoos and mineral water every time.The room’s view was a mixture of garden view ( trees from the neighbouring hotel) and a little bit of sea if you stay close to the window. I think the same room at upper floors, have a full view of sea.

我極少評價，衹對兩種情況評價。很好或很差，這裏屬於前者，很滿意。以下評價對來海南非自駕或不租車或不差錢衹住酒店的人沒用，你可以不耽誤時間往下看了。｜｜｜｜｜｜｜｜｜在海南旅行，最好的方式是開車。無論是自駕還是落地租車。而對於這種旅行方式來説，住民宿最好。而海南全省，所謂民宿一般都在小區裏，也就是“酒店式公寓”。你在挑選這種“民宿”時，看清楚是否其地址或電話詢問，是否是小區裏的房即可。我不推薦去住那種不是小區的民宿。這個酒店式公寓，房型有兩室一廳或大開間。我都住了。房屋沖南，配套均有（洗衣機，冰箱等），你短住幾天也可，常住一個月也可，很合適。在條件容許的情況下，可以聯繫他們給你高層，在海南住的越高越好。小區所在位置離高速入口很近，雖然周邊配套（如飯館等）暫時還不很全，但是外賣可選擇很寬，因此還是很方便。因為就我而言，哪怕是門口有飯館或超市，可能我也懶得出去買。這家店在兩個小區內均有房。現在評價的這個，人多，但是停車位是立體式，雖然現在上層用不到，但開發商設計的反人類，進車位很彆扭。這酒店所在的另一個小區，停車位就是正常的地下停車場。大缺點或毛病到現在我還沒發現（住了10天左右了），如果發現我會在其它訂單下加評。照片是我住後的樣子，供參考。

Our room was facing the ocean. It was lovely to hear the waves while sleeping. The room was big and clean. The bathroom/dressing area was the same length of the room... lovely. The pool personnel was nice and friendly. One of the pools was closed, however the sea view pool was nice when it wasn't interrupted by guests shouting into their phones or smoking to the side. The wind blows smoke towards the lounge chairs, so smoking anywhere near the pool should be banned. Unfortunate that it isn't a rule for smokers to smoke nowhere in the vicinity of pools. The breakfast was nice in the selection. However, when screaming kids it turned what could have been a relaxing start to the day to one of wolfing down food to escape the chaos. Bus boys would look at our table with empty plates and just look... not take our plates away. Not sure why. We can speak Chinese and even if English scared them away, it was just a plate. Would I return? Yes, because of the lovely view from the room, the size of the room, the pool, the cleanliness, landscaping, and beach (size and cleanliness).
