The location is absolutely good, but it should be noted that this is similar to an apartment, there are no toiletries, you need to bring your own, there is a place for cooking, there is a refrigerator and a washing machine, the facilities are older, and the front desk only speaks Spanish. Not recommended for business trips! Short-term travel can be considered!

If your looking for a weekend away to Madrid then look no further and choose the Novotel Madrid in the city center. The hotel is lovely and clean, the room are decent sizes and the shower is awesome. A special thank you to the hotel receptionist 'Sasha' who made our short weekend break amazing. Not only was she helpful and friendly she advised on historical points to see, advised how to travel around the city. The breakfast bar is spolit for choice and the hotel is only 20 minutes away by taxi to the airport T4, €30 a great price. The hotel provides complimentary water and housekeeping is great. This hotel has a lovely roof top bar and the food up there is amazing. Definitely worth all it's stars and the food is an excellent price. This is a great hotel in terms of location and access to both historical venues and shopping. While here we tried various foods such as Spanish, Indian, Thai and English . The people are friendly and getting around by metro is easy, or rentable scooters or bikes. The tour bus is also one to do, I went for my daughter's 16th and we all had a fabulous time .... also 20 minutes by tour bus to the Royal Madrid Stadium.

We stayed at the H10 Hotel Puerta de Alcalá at the end of May and middle of June. The hotel was very comfortable and well located. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop deck with great views of Madrid and Retiro Park. The rooms were very comfortable, quiet, and clean. On a day trip I mistakenly left my camera bag in a taxi. On my return to the hotel later that day, Juan C. at reception helped me begin communications with the taxi company to try to locate the camera bag. For the next few weeks after I had returned home to Canada, Juan diligently followed up and coordinated with the taxi company, organized payment for retrieval of the camera bag then prepared it for shipment to my home in Canada. He went above and beyond the usual service expected at a hotel and I wanted to point out his excellent assistance. Robert S.

The location is very good, just by the subway, there is a shopping mall El Corte Inglés next to it, there are Loewe and Tous at 100m, but there are not many things, and there are &otherstories and Serrano Street about 600m away. You can also walk all the way to Puerta del Sol for about 30 minutes. The service attitude is very good. Arrived at 11 o'clock in the morning, the younger brother checked the availability and checked in directly.

The Odonell Loft is located on the outskirts of the Salamanca District, and only a few minutes away from the historic centre, this modern, cosy, recently renovated loft apartment offers a comfortable space, ideal for a couple seeking tranquillity. It is conveniently located near major streets such as Goya, Alcalá and the Manuel Becerra Square. The Fuente del Berro neighbourhood is a calm area, with one-story houses, and its location allows for easy connections with the rest of the city.Fuente del Berro is a neighbourhood known for the park of the same name, and the apartment lies just a few minutes away from the park, probably the least known among the historical gardens of Madrid. It is a quiet, hidden place of great beauty, situated on the land that was once the Quinta de Miraflores, commissioned by Philip IV as a new royal site, an oasis within the city. This apartment is on the ground floor, and it can be accessed directly by a quiet street. The loft was designed to be a modern, practical space. It's light colours, the natural sunlight that comes in through its large windows in the mornings, its open spaces and high ceilings truly stand out.The clear spaces within the loft are divided into three levels, with wooden floors throughout. The bedroom has a double bed (1,50 x 2,00 m) and it is at the top level, separate from the rest. The middle level has a dining room with a crystal table for four, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bathroom with a shower. On the lowest level, accessible from the street, there is a living room with a comfortable sofa for 3, an armchair and flat-screen television. With a 45m2 area, this property is best suited for those with a young spirit who seek to enjoy a comfortable holiday, as well as for professionals seeking to stay in Madrid for a longer time.

Very central apartment! Unpretentious but with everything absolutely necessary. To highlight the cleanliness and that our beds were made daily. The heating worked very well and in no time you had the space warm. Quiet and fairly quiet building. The beds were quite comfortable and the pillows too. I'm only going to give two negative points. The first, even if the heating worked perfectly, we don't like to turn it on at night and we miss an extra blanket in the closet. Secondly, the pillows had no protector. The normal thing, and more so in a hotel/apartment, is to put a protective cover between the pillow itself and the outer cover. I did miss that since I find this lack of protection unpleasant. Leaving this aside to say that I would return with my eyes closed!

Can be an extra bed, we are 8 years old and there is no extra bed fee. But this time the hygiene is not good. On the day of the check-in, the bathtub in the room was all sand and stone. It was not cleaned. Waiting for the waiter to open the night bed, I asked for cleaning. In the evening, I went to the small garden to rest, and I ordered a glass of champagne. The waiter actually used a glass of water-filled glass (estimated to be washed and not dried) and poured champagne directly to me, hehe! The next day, the children will sleep more than 7 o'clock in the afternoon. As a result, the children's bed and the quilt are inexplicably wet. Later I went to the front desk and asked them to make better bedding. Very hurt. In such a good location, the rest of the hotel is very good, it is a sanitary situation, it is unacceptable.

This hotel is really a bargain for how nice it is. I found the service to be impeccable, breakfast buffet was incredible and the location is right in front of a metro station. A bonus is the contemporary art collection which reminds you that you are in Madrid and not just any nameless, nice hotel. I love the schluter brass detailing in the bathroom and bedroom walls. These design touches add such gravitas to a stay, even when short. Bravo, I would stay here again.

I gave this a four-star review based on the fact that it is a BUDGET hotel. We stayed here for three-nights at the beginning of our trip to Spain in September. As a couple, with several large suitcases, it was okay for a few nights, we were not able to unpack much so getting ready each day was a challenge. The hotel is quiet and the beds are comfortable. It's odd that the shower is in the middle of the room (as opposed to being within an enclosed bathroom) so each time we showered the room stayed very humid for a good amount of time. Thankfully, the windows do open and you can control the temperature of your room so this wasn't much of an issue. We sleep with eye masks on, so this wasn't an issue, but right above the bed in our room there was a smoke or CO2 detector that flashed a green light all day and all night. If we didn't have our masks, this would have driven us crazy at night. This hotel isn't in the tourist hot spots, but it's near a main road with stores and restaurants. It's a two-minute walk from a metro station and the Madrid subway is affordable and easy to navigate. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.

Rooftop bar with heated swimming pool. Restaurant with nice breakfast available (we had our breakfast previously booked and are very glad we did so). We arrived early and had our luggage safe stored by the front desk personnel; same for when we had our check-out (late flight). Super nice, friendly, helpful professional personnel. Superb location, if you are a moderate walker you can walk to just about everywhere. Lots and lots of restaurants (all prices range) within 200m radius (some 24h open).

Part of a hostel. Bedroom is small with worn out built in robes. There’s ironing board with no iron. Living area is spacious. TV only has Spanish programs. Kitchen has fridge, electric cooktop, washing machine, dishwasher, pots & fry pan, plates/bowls, kitchen utensils. No dishwashing powder for dishwasher, nor washing machine. One problem is there’s no power point in kitchen area for benchtop electrical appliances. For some reason the electrician didn’t connect any power points next to benchtop. We had to use the kettle, toaster & coffee machine at the power point next to the floor. Even the staff couldn’t explain why. Maybe only in suite 306. Staff has to defrost the fridge as it’s slowly building up ice. 3rd night was a bit noisy from nearby till early hours of the morning not sure from nearby neighbourhood or from hostel. No tea/coffee/milk provided. Stayed 3 nights with no housekeeping done. Good location facing road leading to Plaza Mayor. It’s a very busy street. Not very clean with lots of rubbish & homeless people sleeping around the place. Other streets much cleaner & some with beautiful buildings.

The Location was excellent but to find the hostel itself was horrible. There was totally no sign to indicate that the hostel is within an office building without any sign of the hostel name and we had walked around the whole plaza and still couldnt find the address no 1. The hostel cannot be contacted with the phone given and thankfully after finding the info counter that we find the place. However, even within the building there is nothing to indicate which level is the hostel as the building info desk was not manned at that time. There were a couple of pickpocket who followed us entered the building pretending to help us and led us going to different floors to confuse us and managed to get away with my passport cover stolen thinking that it must be my wallet. It was a very tiring and frightful experience just locating this hostel due to lack of hostel signboard and communication from the owner despite writing to them for direction.

Stayed here as a city break treat and got back yesterday. We are a British couple. Amazing hotel. 7th floor. Very clean. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Great amenities. About 8 minute walk from metro Herrera Oria- it is a bit of an incline up a couple of hilly streets but it was doable with the heavy luggage. There is a mercadona (supermarket) about 100 yards left of the hotel. Very well stocked. We bought some oat milk and put it in the small fridge in the room. We had room service- lovely club sandwich and Caesar salad. One of the lovely hotel staff then told us about a bus route- game changer! Route 133 takes you direct from outside the hotel (and stops outside the hotel on the return journey) and goes to Callao which is only a 5-10 minute walk to the main square- Plaza Mayor and the San Miguel market. We used the bus daily- sometimes more than once! Air conditioned, always a space as we got on the bus at the start or near the start of the route each time. Return journey from Callao- the 133 goes in the direction of Mirasierra. Get off at the tapas bar at the top of the road near the hotel (I think it was called Jaimi or something similar - worth stopping off for a beer and some tapas!) or get off the stop adjacent to the hotel. Bus is €1.50 per journey. Very clean. You can use your normal contactless card. There are also usb points for your mobile phone near some of the seats. It’s about 40 minutes on the bus. Both bus 24 (direction of Lacoma) and 133 (direction of Callao) is about 3 stops to the Herrera oria metro station. We took the 24 bus from the hotel with our luggage to the metro before heading back to the airport. We loved this hotel and would definitely return! The photos I do have don’t do the place justice. Felt like a lovely safe residential neighbourhood. Very quiet too.

The constant flow of cars, busses and people was mesmerizing, while the sound was quieted by the excellent window glass. Oh goodness where to start.... After a couple of weeks of traveling we were ending our trip with a night at the AC Hotel near the airport for ease of travel the next morning. We arrived and met Carmen, she is AMAZING! Bottom line when my friend made the reservation she made it for October 30th, not October 29th, and the hotel was full. After some mad typing and serious looking on the computer Carmen found us the very last room in the hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous, well appointed, and really comfortable, very sad we were only able to enjoy it for one evening. DON'T USE THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE!!!! So, the next morning, we used the airport shuttle service, OMG! The shuttle driver the next morning if it was on a rating system the star would have to start with a negative. She was unkind, unhelpful, and REALLY RUDE! Be aware when you are using this service you better do your research and know the specific terminal you are flying out of, not the airline, as she will rain hell down on your head. Thank goodness the staff in the hotel was so wonderful, professional, and terrific, couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend this property.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times this year when flying to / from Madrid airport. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Check in is always a breeze. I think a chap called Ruben dealt with my check in on my most recent visit. He is a credit to the hotel. The airport shuttle bus is easy and quick. Nothing is ever a problem at this hotel. I look forward to returning at the end of September for another stay following my trip to The States.

I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. Sweet rooms, bad smell everywhere to the point of giving you arcades, bathroom shared with 7 rooms with mugre (we dare not use it) the door of the room was not closed well... the bed had chinches and the sofas I think they were not clean, summarized a lot of dirt. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city. A total tim because we pay for a hostel and gives us is ”pension” for calling it in any way. I would not come back or recommend anyone who would think to spend a night there. To finish we should have a private bathroom and we meet with a griff in The room with good understanding is over the words.

Hotel that is not really a ... No reception on site which is located in another establishment****t of a adjacent street. A double-room, despite the persistent smell of freshly posed painting ... A simple room, at the same price, absolutely escaped: very demanding with bathroom of the same end; very difficult to return, no rangement possible and especially giving side street, which is particularly animated all night ... A this add the total absence of noise insonorization of the building that decouples the very noisy character of this establishment*****t : Telephone, access to conversations including telephones from your room neighbors, doors that clack, voice screams and ************** ... live guaranteed! For the telereality amateurs this can therefore do the case... The only positive points are: - The innocent cleanliness of this establishment*****t. The only soul that lives and possible interlocutor... - His geographical location - And especially the establishment*****t from the face! Blume Cruz suites where you can take a delicious breakfast while enjoying a particularly sympathetic and warm welcome :)

A most fantastic location on Gran Via within easy walking distance to multiple metro stations. Pleasant front desk staff accommodating early check-in without a fuss. Despite being on a busy Main Street, didn't feel any disturbance inside the room. Very satisfied with my stay here.

We checked in on New Year’s Eve at 11:30, coming straight from the airport, and by midnight we were sitting in front of the fire with drinks, counting down until 2024 with complimentary grapes that the hotel so nicely provided! We enjoyed the amenities and the bathtub in the spacious bathroom and slept well in the comfortable bed. We were able to get to the city center for a nice walk while the hotel stored the luggage and we used the shuttle to and from our terminal- easy and quick.

Stayed here for two nights and could not have been happier. The hotel staff was friendly, room was super clean, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding (continental and Spanish foods available). The bathroom was quite spacious, very good water pressure, A/C worked without issue, and our room had the best blackout curtains I’ve ever seen. Overall, these comforts made for a great stay. This is a fantastic hotel if you plan to travel around Spain by train, as it’s a short walk away from the train station.
