|9.14km from downtownThe staff were very pleasant, helpful and always doing their best to make the guests comfortable. The rooms were very cozy and clean, with working TV, mini fridge and aircon. The toilets were very clean and sanitized and towels also smelled like they have been washed well. I liked that the hotel was in the middle of the city with close access to a variety of important places, restaurants and shopping. What i didn't like though was that there was a lot of noise around my room as cleaning staff were busy cleaning other rooms and making lots of noises and banging doors. Also i was in a non smoking room and i could smell smoke coming from other rooms. I asked for reception to change my room, which they did.

The rooms are clean and spacious, beds comfortable and wifi works very well. The complementary breakfast buffet has Indian and Western food of high quality and the service staff is welcoming. Safety is provided by security staff, and even at night the area is totally safe. Street cooking happens just at the doorstep, do not miss it. It is a 3 minutes walk to the DART Station Kivukoni from where the central bus station (north-west) and the Kivukoni ferry (south-east) are easily reachable.

|8.53km from downtownIt‘s a fairly new hotel and part of Marriott Bonvoy. I enjoyed to stay there a lot, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is nice and with various options. The pool has a nice size, however lacking a view. Talking about view, some rooms have nice sea view. Others have pool view but you also see the green landscape which is nice too. The rooms are pretty big, kind of small TV though, but they feel very comfortable and the bed is great too. Also USB and an international power plug at the night stand, which still a lot of other hotels don‘t have. Rooms are cleaned very well. The gym is very basic, only machines for cardio and a few weights. Ate dinner at the restaurant several times and always got good food. There is an area called Slipway just 5 walking minutes away, that also provides great food options and a bit of nightlife.

I was a little surprised, but then the twin bed gave a free upgrade to the double room. Breakfast like hot milk, fried eggs on the spot. There are a few mosquitoes living now, and it’s especially fast to catch. The facilities are a bit historyd, the water is a bit blocked, and there are fewer TV shows. Room cleaning is more timely. The waiter is very good. How is the dinner so slow, but you can read the phone to write a review, it seems that this is the rhythm, the surrounding streets are neat and feel safer. The mosque outside the window broadcasts several times a day. At five o'clock, someone will be woken up. Fortunately, I can't hear it.

|9.24km from downtownEverything else is good, the location is invincible, in front of you is the beautiful view of the port! The facilities are relatively new and easy to enter and exit. Especially the pork ribs on the 8th floor are the best ever!
There is a problem with the bathroom service. I asked for a toothbrush 3 times before giving it, and I only gave one if I asked for two!
The bath towels were gone after the first day of use!
Disposable slippers are also used for the first time and will not be replaced with new ones! One time becomes permanent!
Another disadvantage is that the wifi speed is too slow, and the blue clock displayed under the TV is too dazzling.

When I ordered for steamed vegetables, I received buttered vegetables. On another occasion I ordered for coffee with hot milk on the side and got served black coffee. Last morning, I ordered for 2 fried eggs well done, got served 2 eggs sunny side up wet yolk. Apart from this, the staff are generally polite and respectful Rooms are clean though the quality of furnishings is one level below Sea Cliff Hotel, is this deliberate?

|16.49km from downtownWe visited Kijiji beach resort on a Day after Christmass , 26th of 2021, the onboarding and registration is smooth I admired the having a swimming experience on ocean but unfortunately the day we went the water as very far away Their services when it comes to the whole swimming is good, from exchange rooms are at very good quality to the swimming pools themselves. The only thing I didn't like about Kijiji beach resort swimming pools is the number of people was too high to an extent making it very hard to relax while swimming, but it might be because we went during the holiday

It is walking distance to the beach. Make sure you have the phone number in case you have problems finding it because the name of the place is not posted. It is across the street from the IST clinic and is in the same building as the Village Supermarket.

|7.99km from downtownI have been traveling to this beautiful city of Dar es Salam for the past 20 years and have stayed at almost all the hotels and hotel/apartments that rate from 3* to 5*. I have to be honest that many have impressed me and some disappointed me and I could say some have surprised me, but I still had to find one that was 100% on point until I landed at Aura Suites. This place is in a wonderful location of the city, it is central and it can serve business people single or in groups, it could play host to families on short stays or those in transit and would also be ideal for groups of tourists. I happens to pick a one bedroom suite, what I got was jaw dropping and for a very very affordable rate inclusive of breakfast. I had what they call a mini kitchen but to me was a kitchen for a good 2 bedroom apartment anywhere in the world, I got a living room with beautiful furniture and a massive television, a dining room, a guest cloak room, a laundry room and the bedroom was actually even more than my expectation this is a huge en-suite room with a massive TV, closet, and safe box. The furniture and fixtures are all top notch and of high quality. The showers are rain showers with enough water pressure and hot water is always available. They have a roof top bar and restaurant on the 16th floor that gives you an amazing view of the skyline of Dar es salaam, the food was amazing and they have every kind of drink at their bar and all at very competitive reasonable prices. The entire building is immensely neat and clean it may remind you of a military hospital in terms of the precision and attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness and well maintained. Last but not least the staff are friendly, and educated with knowledge of what they are serving in drink or food which at times can be a challenge even in the top 5* hotels in Dar. I was amazed that the top management and managers of the hotel are consistently moving around the place and checking on the services, as I assumed these maybe businessman who are guests but very professional well dressed men would approach me and always ask if I am ok and how was my meal and my breakfast and or if I slept well. All in all they have me as their regular customer and I recommend anybody intending to visit Dar to stay at Aura suites

|8.61km from downtownThe transit hotel is good, the taxi driver charges me 5USD from airport to hotel, its acceptable for the first time, but after living in Tanzania for a month, 5USD is really a lot.
Staff are nice and friendly, but there is electricity cut off that day.
The only thing is the location is bad, the surrounding is dangerous. People nearby will shout, come near you when seeing you are tourist.
That why I live only for 3 hours instead of the whole night. I prefer staying at the airport during interchange flight.

The room was ideal with a good shower and air conditioning. The included breakfast was also excellent with friendly staff and great choice of local foods. We had a late flight change and were offered a late check out and an easy reorganisation of our airport transfer. We recommend this Hotel and after visiting over 100 countries feel it is up there with the best.
