Great staff, well located, fridge and microwave in the room, safe on premises and a clean room

The place is clean not really modern. Breakfast is good with a mix of english/indian. The gym is small and machines need replacement Reception area clean and very welcoming. They do offer airport pickup and drop. Cochroaches are a constant problem, they do fumigate frequently though.

I love this place not because of hotel only but because of Mr Raj who works very hard to make your stay comfortable and memorable. He takes care of little things during your stay to make you feel home. Years and years am booking with them and all I can say is Raj is Urban rose! 🌹 thank you guys! Great location lovely service extremely out of way, good food.

The Urban Rose Hotel is certainly a 'Rose' in the middle of the City. The staff, as all reviews state, are exceptionally friendly. They stand back and let you use the lift first, they carry your bags, smile and say hello, nothing is too much trouble. They're wonderful and made our four night stay unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious. Each day there were differing varieties of curries and accompaniments. Of course there was a good selection of fresh fruit, toast and cereals or freshly made omelettes. All served with a smile by the ever helpful waiting staff. Our room was large and spacious with a kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, shower and toilet. There were two air-conditioning units and three ceiling fans, so keeping cool was a breeze. The room was clean and serviced each day with all toiletries being replenished as required. The restaurant is, open in the evening and on Saturday night there is an all you can eat buffet. The hotel is well positioned for all the sights of the City and around a half an hour taxi ride from the airport, traffic willing. All in all a great place to stay in Dar es Salaam.

A great place to stop in the centre of Far es salaam. We had a family room with a great balcony on the top floor. Staff were really helpful. Sorted us out a guy to sell us SIM cards for our mobiles. The breakfast was excellent. Ask for the pancake pyramid!

Convenient from location & price point as I revisited after 26 yrs Carbon air pollution from line up barbecue services especially in evenings when outside could be negating otherwise indoors is ideal! Accommodating friendly team of staff to your service was excellent
