Beautiful Onsen hotel. Visiting a friend at Yuda Onsen, and chanced upon Onn. Japanese standard of service and cleanliness, price is reasonable as well. I love how i could visit the onsen as many times I want. For those who are too shy, you can book one of the two private onsen rooms for ¥3500 per hr which is pretty reasonable in my opinion. Free flow of coffee at the coffee machine at the reception. Too many great things at this hotel to be written in a few words. Only downside would be the really tiny rooms but most Japanese hotels are tiny anyway.
It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the hotel by JR train, so it is easy to find. The main entrance faces the traffic light. It has a history of 300 years and has a traditional style. You need to change indoor slippers in the lobby first, and the waiter will take them out immediately when you go out. Guests' shoes will be changed for you. The entire building is already worth admiring. There is an orthodox Japanese garden with a lot of koi fish in the pond and beautiful maple leaves. You can enjoy the garden from the balcony of our room. Inside the room The bathroom has a wooden bathtub. Dinner and breakfast are eaten in the room... Our butler is very professional and introduces all kinds of food... There is also free beer and Coke. There is an electric heating blanket in the center of the room, which is thick and soft. There is no heating...but it will be very cold if you leave this area...This is an old building, and the technology was not that advanced at that time. The hot spring pool is not big, but there are two baths, which are beautiful and comfortable. Morning and evening Men's and women's baths are interchangeable. There is a ”Fox's Footsteps” restaurant across the road from the hotel that is worth recommending.
The facilities were old, but the room was very clean.
The staff at the front desk and in the dining area were very kind.
I called the front desk to confirm check-in time, but they were short-staffed and did not answer, but other than that it was perfect.
I stayed alone on business. My reservation for one person was not communicated, so I was charged the hot spring tax for two people.
When I explained the situation, they corrected it to one person, but I would have liked them to respond more clearly based on the guest name at the time of booking.
There is a problem with trip.com's reservation specifications and I would like them to improve it.
Clean and relaxing hotel. Have osen and breakfast included. Multi storey car park is located next to the hotel and the parking fee for one night is 400 yen after you got coupon from hotel front desk. The hotel also provides different type of pillows and facial masks which can choose them from self service cabinets.
This hotel is great for business travelers because it offers spacious rooms and a large public bath, which is perfect for unwinding after work. I would definitely come back again.
Service was good but can be improved:
- the translation tool used was not effective. Staff had to apologise repeatedly.
- due to miscommunication, we were late for dinner by 15 mins. The hotel was not flexible enough to do service recovery to guests.
Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and love the room!
The air conditioning in the room smelled terrible...it took a while for the smell to dissipate. The breakfast and the location were very good. Parking was limited. There were special packages available nearby for 1300 yen per night. The Shimonoseki Dream Tower is nearby, offering sunset and night views.
We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Hagi no Yado Tomoe. Outstanding from start to finish. Delicious meals (breakfast and dinner) on both days, comfortable futons in spacious and well-appointed rooms, the most friendly and efficient service (sincere thanks to Takashi-san, our ‘butler’, but also to the entire team) and ideally located in walking distance to all Hagi’s most interesting sights. I can’t recommend Hagi no Yado Tomeo highly enough.
Iwakuni Kokusai Kanko Hotel, which was in the top 3 out of 15 trips to Japan 👍 The open-air hot spring overlooking Kintai Bridge is healing itself. I'm going to do it 3 timesㅋ. For dinner, the course kaisaki cuisine overlooking Kintai Bridge is endless, and you can enjoy it with draft beer and sakeㅎ
Breakfast was also very satisfying 👍 The staff was friendly, clean, and the comfort and healing make me want to visit again next time. Arigatou gozaimasu ^^

CCarolbabyThis hot spring hotel, while small, is well-equipped. The front desk staff was very friendly and the location is great, right in the heart of Yamaguchi Onsen, with many restaurants nearby. The onsen itself is also excellent. The only problem is that the rooms are a bit cramped, making it difficult to move around for families. However, the price is reasonable, and the service is excellent, so I'm very satisfied.
GGuest UserI was traveling alone and stayed overnight without meals. For dinner, I was able to go to an Italian restaurant on the first floor without a reservation. The food was so delicious that I wondered if I was in Italy. The hotel staff were very cheerful and polite, and wonderful people. It was a wonderful trip.
LLoyd PekLocation is excellent for the area, with splendid views of the bay from both the room and outdoor Onsens. I miss waking up to the sound of the quacking ducks, swimming in the sea, in the morning already! But I wonder how one would visit this hotel without driving own car. Service was welcoming and the food served was great. Would love to visit if I’m in the area again. Should renovate and upkeep the onsen areas!
