Good location and facilities But maybe there's a lot of nightlife around. There are many tattoos in the hot springs. Breakfast was good too

Unbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition. The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle. Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)? My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call). Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.

Location: Straight out from Yuda Onsen Station, it's about 600-700 meters. There are convenience stores, several small restaurants, a park with a foot bath, and a direct bus to Akiyoshido Cave nearby. However, it's about 3 kilometers from the main commercial area around Yamaguchi Station, and there's not much to see or do on the way. Facilities: The rooms are generally quite new, and the bathroom is spacious, though I didn't use the shower. The onsen area isn't huge, but it's well-equipped with indoor, outdoor, private, cold water baths, and a sauna. For women, the sauna is replaced with a hot stone spa. Cleanliness: No issues. Service: You can drop off your luggage before check-in, but they won't bring it to your room. Also, while not the hotel's fault, their courier service (Takkyubin) only offers cash-on-delivery. So, if you plan to send luggage, be sure to confirm this beforehand.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Hagi no Yado Tomoe. Outstanding from start to finish. Delicious meals (breakfast and dinner) on both days, comfortable futons in spacious and well-appointed rooms, the most friendly and efficient service (sincere thanks to Takashi-san, our ‘butler’, but also to the entire team) and ideally located in walking distance to all Hagi’s most interesting sights. I can’t recommend Hagi no Yado Tomeo highly enough.

The room is functional and the Japanese breakfast and dinner are excellent. The hot spring has multiple special pools, but the hot spring water is not hot enough. It would be better if there is a vending machine selling frozen milk outside the hot spring door.

My flight arrival on the early morning, and reached the hotel around 13.45-14.00. And I wanna leave luggages at the room and hope to hurry to visit another sightseeing on afternoon. But actually the hotel ignore early check-in, so I must paid 1000 yen for nothing to do at the room. I think the hotel don’t get any good mindset to traveler and don’t have any flexible about the rule of conditions. Traveling at japan disappoints and more getting tired to understand their service mind.

It's a hotel with great design. The staff are super-friendly and helpful. A must try is the hotel's Italian restaurant. Just a thought - it would be wonderful if the dry sauna on the top floor could be converted to a public bath. The hot spring next door is not the best. It is too small, with very limited facilities, and the water is not hot at all. The property should consider associating itself with another onsen in the area.

Hotel is clean and staff were helpful. I assumed fridge would be turned on and put my beers in there. Returned 2 hours later and discovered fridge was actually off all the time and my beers were still hot. Turned it on but took ages to cool. Room was very small like many Japanese Hotels.

Location is excellent for the area, with splendid views of the bay from both the room and outdoor Onsens. I miss waking up to the sound of the quacking ducks, swimming in the sea, in the morning already! But I wonder how one would visit this hotel without driving own car. Service was welcoming and the food served was great. Would love to visit if I’m in the area again. Should renovate and upkeep the onsen areas!
