Hot Springs Hotels in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan

The room is big enough to even change my suitcase from broken one to a new one. I like having bamboo baskets for me to carry thing to the onsen. It is very nice to have sauna, one indoor onsen, one outdoor onsen and a cold onsen. I was happy to have an ice-cream after onsen and can have a small bowl of ramen for free.

I had a pleasant stay with my friends for 7 days. The price was so good that we decided to have our own room for each of us. The size is decent, I could wide open my large luggage without any trouble walking around the room. The location is not bad, like 10mins walk from the JR Sendai Station, and quite close to the most popular restaurants in Sendai.

Very comfortable, warm and thoughtful hotel! Breakfast is a Japanese cuisine with great care, but it's a pity that the children don't know how to eat! The public soup is not big but clean and comfortable! Next time I will consider bringing my friends to relax and vacation together!

In my daze, I only booked for one person. Luckily, the bunk bed could sleep two, and I checked in smoothly after paying the difference. The room wasn't big, but thankfully I had a small suitcase with a change of clothes for the night. I slept in too late the next day and didn't have time for breakfast, so I can only blame myself.

I've stayed here about 5 or 6 times now, and every visit, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is excellent. The staff's polite language and their commitment to ensuring guests never feel uncomfortable truly put me at ease. This time, for the first time, I opted for a room-only stay as I wanted to enjoy a relaxing hot spring trip without any interference. (Previously, my best friend and I always chose plans with breakfast and dinner.) This kind of stay is also very reasonable, and given the reliable service, I'll continue to choose Rantei for all my future visits to Akiu Onsen, rather than trying other inns. Having just turned 60, I'm not sure how many more times I'll be able to visit... Thank you so much for everything.

Huge thanks to the Trip.com hotel butler for patiently helping us book the hotel shuttle and guiding us on its location at Sendai Station. The service was excellent. After a 40-minute ride to the hotel, we checked in to find it completely full. The lobby was packed with Japanese families, and we barely saw any Chinese guests. It was surprising to see so many Japanese families enjoying hot springs on a weekday, which shows how much busier the consumer market is here compared to back home. Both breakfast and the buffet dinner were fantastic.

The location is fantastic, right near Rairai Gorge, making it super convenient to explore on foot. The baths are great, open from 5 AM to 1 AM, and always clean and refreshing. The buffet had a wide variety of delicious food. There's also a shop and a massage parlor within the hotel. The room felt a bit dated but was clean and comfortable. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.

The hotel here has spacious rooms with Japanese futons to sleep on. The rooms are clean and the front desk staff provides good explanations. The onsen here is very large and has many pools. The lounge provides clean services twice a day. In the evening, there is unlimited wine, beer, and snacks. Breakfast is good, with a wide selection and delicious. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back to stay here again. I would like to recommend this hotel

Just a five-minute walk from Sendai Station, this hotel boasts charming, traditional architecture. The top-floor public bath is particularly amazing, and the breakfast offers a great variety. I absolutely recommend it and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Sendai.
