Hot Springs Hotels in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan

Enjoyed my stay. Traditional tatami mat throughout and hence shoes are to removed at entrance. Only 5 mins walk to omichio market. I had a very good sleep and rest. The hotel offers osen, complimentary late night ramen and ice cream/yakult with manga corner. Convenient location where walking is possible to most attractions like Kenroku-en and Higashi Chaya District.

This was a truly satisfying stay. Before checking in, I had visited Shirakawa-go and was a little disappointed not to see any snow. But then, on my first morning at the hotel, I pulled back the curtains to find it snowing heavily! It was absolutely amazing. I decided right then and there not to go anywhere and just enjoy the snow from the hotel. The hotel is a bit older, but the room was clean and tidy. I had upgraded my room, and it wasn't small at all. The area mentioned in the description probably just refers to the room itself, but the entryway was also very spacious, allowing me to easily open my large luggage. The indoor balcony in front was also quite large, perfect for a family to sit and enjoy the snow. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct mountain views, with the river flowing right below. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant lobby were even more stunning – it was wonderful to enjoy the snow while dining. Even the outdoor onsen provided beautiful views of the snow and river while soaking. The best part was how few people there were; both times, it was just me and my daughter, so there was no need to book a private onsen. Behind the hotel, there's a walking trail. We explored it that day, and while the heavy snow made it a bit challenging to walk, it was incredibly beautiful and completely deserted. Every photo we took was a scenic masterpiece. Our shoes and socks got wet on the way back, but thankfully, we didn't feel cold. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. The staff were also very friendly. Although most of them didn't speak English, they used translation software, so communication was just a bit slow.

Hokuriku cherry-watching trip, staying alone at Lijin Hot Spring Xiduoba Hotel, the whole process is surrounded by careful and intimate service, every detail makes people feel warm, leaving beautiful and unforgettable memories. The hotel's service is meticulous and considerate, and the staff and driver are kind and kind throughout the whole process. Whether it is check-in reception and demand assistance, they are patient and thoughtful. They are considerate of the guests everywhere, making people feel at home instantly. In particular, free shuttle service is also provided, so that you don't have to worry about traffic problems, which saves a lot of trouble for the journey, and the caring degree is full. The room is clean and comfortable, the environment is quiet and elegant, you can hear birds singing, the air is fresh, I can sleep well without even turning on the air conditioner. The desserts in the hall taste sweet, so pleasant surprise 🍓, there is a small gift shop to buy. The hot springs in the museum are warm and comfortable, and the complete personal soaking is a lot easier. Especially the waterfall hot springs, the water flow is just right, can massage the shoulder and neck parts, relieve the stiffness and fatigue of weekdays. I sincerely thank all the service staff of Xiduoba Hotel for creating such a comfortable and comfortable accommodation environment with heart. From service to facilities, from meals to experience, everything is impeccable. This trip has become more perfect because this hotel has become more perfect, and I will definitely help you again next time I visit, and I really recommend it to every friend!

It is one of the biggest ryokans we have visited with a lot of amenities. Guests are mostly Japanese..giving a family/retirement village vibes. Our room came with breakfast and dinner plan - food was delicious and very fresh! One thing to note when booking on Trip is that there are many room types available, but the pictures shown are not accurate!! When I booked my room, the pictures showed an in-room onsen tub-lookalike..and the room descriptions seem to support it too, along with the price. However, when I arrived, the room I was given was not like the pics at all..with no private tub/onsen in the room. We really wanted a private onsen to end our trip on a high, but we were left disappointed. Could not help but feel slightly cheated. We wanted to pay for an upgrade,to get one with in-room onsen but were told all were fully booked.:( so be careful when booking your desired room type.

Look no further, Mori no Sumika Resort and Spa is absolutely wonderful! The staff are amazing, the rooms are spacious and well appointed, the property to include the hot springs baths is excellent - the food offerings for breakfast and dinner changes each day, the chef serving the freshest seafood, meats, vegetables. It’s a beautiful place that you’ll never want to leave and for sure come back to sooner than later. Arigato gozaimasu

Very good, service, hot springs, breakfast, dinner are all good, a good accommodation experience, not too far from the station, pay extra to upgrade dinner, the beef is delicious, the wine is also good, they will take the initiative to take a photo for us before checking out, very considerate

This Japanese-style hot spring hotel has complete facilities and the lobby is decorated in a very luxurious style. We arrived early and enjoyed the free afternoon tea and foot bath first. When we checked in at 3 o'clock, a waiter in kimono guided us to the door of the room, which was very considerate. After taking a bath, we had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel as scheduled. Dinner is a standard Kaiseki cuisine, which is very sumptuous. Each family has its own private dining space and is equipped with a dedicated person to serve throughout the meal. At 9 o'clock in the evening, the hotel arranged a local Taiko performance in Kaga for the guests, which was very unique. The whole experience was very satisfying.

Hakuchoro is a classic in Kanzawa, the decor is very tastefully done and the overall atmosphere has character.  It’s onsen is natural spring water and though the bath are relatively modest, it never gets crowded.  They provide free bus shuttles to and from the Kanazawa station and is a very helpful feature. Rooms are large and well appointed and everything in the fridge - water, tea, orange juice and beers are free and topped up everyday. The stained glass in the lobby area and in the rooms are nice touched included the very nice pottery ware used for breakfast! Breakfast buffet spread is both western and Japanese and they even now have sparkling wine and sake for breakfast!  Definitely has character!

KAI Kaga inherited hundreds of years of hot spring inns and used new modern models to attract tourists in the hope of driving crowds to the hot springs in nearby districts. However, it turns out that the surrounding area is very deserted. Except for KAI Kaga, which is fully booked on weekends, there are almost no crowds. The surrounding shops are either closed or on the way to closing, and the nearby shrines specially marked as tourist attractions are also deserted. The hotel itself, the rooms, the hot springs, the facilities and the food are all average, but it is really not worth the price (it may also be that there are more people on weekends and the price is higher). The high unit price will easily make people look at the small details through a magnifying glass, and they will find that many small areas need to be strengthened. Another drawback is that there is no shuttle service from the station to the hotel (other lower-priced hotels nearby offer that). If you don't happen to pass by and want to take a hot spring bath, it is not recommended to come here specifically. In the end, I didn't give a bad review because the service staff were relatively young and had a good attitude. Xingye has its own set of training for its employees.

The sauna and cold plunge pool are also well-prepared, offering various bathing options. After your bath, you can enjoy a variety of teas and ice cream. Plus, the lounge offers unlimited simple snacks, wine, beer, and sake. It's the perfect spot for anyone who loves a drink! The rooms have also been recently renovated, making them spacious and clean. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
