Hot Springs Hotels in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan

A decent hotel. The service was excellent. They offered free dandan noodles for a late-night snack. The hot springs were excellent. It happened to be the Lantern Festival, and the open-air baths, enjoying the cool breeze and bright moonlight, were quite relaxing. Just be sure to pay attention to the bus schedule from the hotel to the station. When booking, I thought it would run every hour, but it turned out to be only available at 15:10. Although we missed the shuttle, the bus was quite convenient. Just be sure to prepare small change in cash or PayPay. I personally think the 100-year-old plum wine is superb. Highly recommended.

This time I stayed at Daikumachi for a drinking party with friends. I've stayed here a few times and it's always been great. Unfortunately I couldn't take a bath this time, but the breakfast was delicious and I ate a lot. Thank you. This is one of the inns I'd like to stay at again if I have the opportunity.

My stay at this accommodation was absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations! The place was impeccably clean and wonderfully quiet, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel right at home. One of the highlights was the food—breakfast and dinner were served daily, and each meal was unique, prepared with incredibly fresh ingredients. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully crafted, adding a special touch to the experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming stay. It’s truly exceptional and well worth it!

Absolutely loved the natural hot springs, and the complimentary ramen in the evening was a delightful touch. The breakfast spread was incredibly varied, featuring a wonderful selection of Japanese dishes that I truly enjoyed. Being able to customize my own seafood rice bowl, especially with the fresh tuna, was a fantastic bonus! The room was also a good size. Overall, I was very satisfied.

部屋はゆったりと広く　湯船も足が伸ばせるくらいの大きさでいい。結婚式場もあるためとても綺麗なホテルです。隣接された温泉は行った時間帯が悪かったのか一般の方も利用されるため初めて洗い場が空くのに並びました。お湯はジャグジー、ぬる湯、熱めの露天風呂と気持ちよく入れました。サウナもあります。駐車場はホテルの裏側にあります。宿泊者、温泉施設利用者と停める所は分けている感じですがおそらく温泉利用の方々が停めてるようでホテル側には停められなかったのが少し残念。でも宿泊者は無料で停められます。全体的にはとても綺麗で良いホテルでした。

It was our first trip together in a while since my husband recovered from illness, and being right by the sea was incredibly relaxing. The sunrise was amazing! The open-air bath with a view was also wonderful. I felt refreshed, both physically and mentally. Thank you very much.

The hot springs are very effective and the environment is wonderful. I left something behind in the room, but the staff were eager to find it, which was very nice!

I was grateful that they held my luggage for me even after check-out. They also gave me directions to the museum, which allowed me to enjoy the scenery from a unique perspective that only walking can offer.

The facilities and sanitation are generally the same, 70 points, it can be seen that this hotel is a bit old, but the service is very good. There is a large bath and sauna on the second floor. The bath has two soups indoor and outdoor. It is not bad. There are almost no people after 9 pm. The advantage of this hotel is that it is super close to the big wash aquarium. It is convenient for the bus, remember to check the bus time (the bus will be late, you can scan the QR code on the bus stop sign to check the bus location)
