Hot Springs Hotels in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

The room was decent, it's a bit of a walk up to the hotel but they do provide a free shuttle bus service from the ferry terminal, though I didn't take it as I like to explore the island a bit. The hotel is relatively closer to the Mt Misen Ropeway, but sadly it was under maintenence during my stay there. The public bath is the highlight of my stay there, it was amazing and nobody was using it in the time I was there, so I had the entire jacuzzi to myself to relax in. For the shy ones, you are able to check if the bath is occupied from the television in the room before heading there. The staff were very kind and tried their best to communicate with me in English, and even provided recommendations for dinner around the island as I did not opt for the dinner there. A single momiji manju was waiting on the table when I entered the room with a handwritten note from the staff, which was a very nice gesture.

2-night stay Location: Easy to find, a 5-minute walk straight from JR Miharashi Station, and a 5-minute walk to AEON. There are many restaurants, a large public bath, and one hour of free bicycle rental. Service: Attentive, prompt, and proactive; very polite; one complimentary beer per person per day. Room: Spacious, well-laid out, elegantly decorated, comfortable bedding, clean, strong shower water pressure, and ideal soundproofing. A combination lock is used to open the room door. A complimentary bottle of water is provided if cleaning is not required. Breakfast: Wide selection, both Japanese and Western, with fresh ingredients and quick replenishment. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was under repair during my stay.

Initially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands. I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen. There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later). Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean. The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face. I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me. Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after. One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen. There is a convenience store in the hotel. But I believe they closes at 2200. Also, there is hot spring in the hotel. There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use. I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too. For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast. 1st day was Japanese breakfast set. 2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast. They were delicious. The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections. For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay. I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride. Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue. I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima. Thank you.

It was a nice stay. We took a Junior Suite with the private onsen included. The room is not huge, but has everything needed and is cozy enough. There are many amenities (in the pure Japanese hotel tradition) as well as a ”Yukata bar” in which you can choose your fav yukata. The biggest perk of the room is obviously the private onsen, which is a truly hidden gem. Very relaxing with a nice seaview. Staff was very helpful with the clogged sink (came just a few minutes after we called). The dinner was an impressive buffet, with a wide choice of seafood both to cook (the oysters, abalone and other shells to be grilled were wow) and raw (ikura all you can eat). Besides that, there was a steak live cooking station, shabu shabu as well as sukiyaki. Definitely a recommended stay!

The number of guests on the app did not match the hotel plan. However, the plan was listed as an available slot, so I should have wondered about it, but I made the reservation without thinking about it. On the day, the number of guests did not match, so I was a little flustered, but the hotel accepted it and dealt with it, which was a relief. The kaiseki dinner at night was also delicious and looked great! The location was great and we traveled by car, but there were two parking lots, so it was convenient to go to Miyajima. At night, there is a dragon boat that allows you to see Itsukushima Shrine, and it is a service that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. I didn't have time to ride it this time, but next time I would like to adjust my schedule to include a private bath and use it. The guests seemed to be couples of all ages, families with small children, and business entertaining!

This property far exceeded my expections. I give much credit to the exceptional service provided by the Front desk team and housekeeping. They have been well trained and follow-up, as and when required. It is one of those few properties which I have experienced, as a global traveller, where it was difficult to leave. As foreign guests are also using the hotel, I would recommend basic English classes be provided to help in the delivery of the service. Thank you.

There is no airport bus, but you can book a taxi at the front desk. It costs 1,000 yuan per person to share a taxi with other guests, which is very cost-effective, but the time is fixed and you cannot choose it yourself. It is a bit expensive to arrange a car alone at 2,000 yuan.

I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. It is a feeling that the old good old inn built by the sea near the bustling shopping street which is the main street is renovated for the present age, and the whole facility ~ the facilities in the room are unified and beautifully arranged It was a very nice inn where you can feel the old history in 々 while being able to feel it. There are many free services available only for guests. The hotel has a lounge with free drinks to enjoy the scenery in the lobby and the top floor, and there is also a service where you can choose multiple pillows and yukata according to your preference. There are plenty of drinks and sweets in the room, so I didn't have to worry about the expenses of fine beverages. This inn will respond as flexibly and pleasantly as possible to the wishes of the guests. For example, in our case this time, when we told our family in advance that there are people with bad legs, they can install a bed in a Japanese-style room, and change the basic dishes provided to each person's taste. Even if I was lost, I was able to make a flexible response and suggestion immediately, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The hot spring is in the basement, and it has an old-fashioned atmosphere with only a large bathtub １, and it is not so large, and the scenery is not good because it is in the basement. Compared to the hot spring resorts devised at this time, it may feel unsatisfactory, but it is clean and the temperature is around ４０ degrees, so it is ”good old” while taking a long bath. I felt that it was a place to enjoy. It was stated that the quality of the hot water was slightly salty and smooth, and it was pumped and boiled from the source. I was able to take a comfortable bath without being squeezed or dry even by families with weak skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but some rooms have open-air baths with rooms, so I think you can choose according to your taste. What should be noted here is the wonderfulness of the food. The amount of meals varies or is insufficient depending on the course and price, which is often a big preparation at such a large inn, and the impression and quality of appearance are greatly different from the images on the site. Instead of having a sense of failure such as the dishes that were cold at the time of serving inn dishes, we were able to provide a wonderful dish of a more impressive level. This time we were in the room, and it was originally said that Masazen was the basic set, but ４ kind of seasonal course dishes (Masazen, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) with guidance on the site. I requested it at the stage of advance reservation and received everything with my family. There is no loss at all in every course, and the abundant ingredients unique to the land are carefully prepared, and all of them are very delicious, and the individual dishes requested by the order are prepared quickly. At the end, he made rice balls for dinner, which were full and could not be eaten, and he was able to provide a supreme time beyond the best. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall I received the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, but the amount was gradually appropriate and very satisfying. The seasoning is natural, healthy, and exquisite taste adjustment and appropriate temperature, which does not rely on artificial taste operations such as umami seasonings, while protecting the gentle flavor that makes the best use of the goodness of fresh ingredients. It was my 2nd stay at this hotel and Loved it! Location is a bit far from Miyajima station by walk but free car parking and also they have shuttle to ferry terminal.(like 10-15min by walk) There’s some restaurant and 7/11 right in front of hotel. Def we will be back again!

Very close to the train station, we can walk there to have meals and shop easily. There must be twenty to thirty restaurants that we can choose from. There's an onsen on the tenth floor, good place to relax after running around all day, beats the small shower in the hotel room hands down.
