It was one of the best hotels I ever slept in Japan. Usually, we try 3 to 5 star hotels in every local capital city. This one is of course famous Prince hotel but it is quite away from the city center yet situated in the most beautiful area of Hiroshima. From the hotel rooms we could see the skyline of the town and the sea.
Breakfast is served on the top floor you can choose traditional Japanese (Nadaman/super famous Japanese restaurant) or western style buffet breakfast.
With a little supplemental fee, I could go to Onsen (hotspring) and it was soo relaxing and the view was stunning. You even can sail to Miyajima island from this hotel port.
The hotel is in a great location (1km) from the train station.
The room is large and spacious. (The downside is that there is no bottled water in the room).
At the reception area, you can admire the torii gate and enjoy ice cream (3pm-5pm). You also have unlimited drinks. For the various onsen, tattoos must be covered with patches.
The hotel provides a shuttle service to the train station. A great stay.

The hosts at this Ryoken are so welcoming, friendly and helpful! They picked us up from the ferry terminal when we arrived and dropped us back there on departure. This was crucial as we would have otherwise struggled with our suitcases up the hills and through the labyrinth of small streets! The location is a little bit away from the central area, but that is what we wanted. It was so peaceful at night, the deer wandered past our the front as we relaxed in the open air footpath. The food was nothing short of excellent. They specialise in seafood dishes so if you have an allergy it would be important to let the hosts know before you arrive. The rooms were simply and elegantly appointed: we had everything we needed. The onsen onsite was fantastic! After a long day of walking we felt very relaxed afterwards.
Thank you so much to the hosts for making our stay on Miyajima unforgettable!
This property far exceeded my expections.
I give much credit to the exceptional service provided by the Front desk team and housekeeping. They have been well trained and follow-up, as and when required. It is one of those few properties which I have experienced, as a global traveller, where it was difficult to leave.
As foreign guests are also using the hotel, I would recommend basic English classes be provided to help in the delivery of the service. Thank you.
It is a very nice space with a sea view with shared space and rooms. You can also see Navy Road from the room.
I made a plan with evening breakfast, but I was particular about local production for local consumption, and I felt Edajima love because I used plenty of ingredients from Edajima. Overall, I had a good experience and it was a special day. It is a hotel that I want to come again.
The room is small but there is a table and sofa, enough space to open two suitcases! The 1/F hot spring is big enough and comfortable enough. Breakfast buffet is included, although there is not much variety of food, but the standard is good. Location near Sakezo-dori and JR stations, Lawson downstairs, although Saijo itself is not many restaurants, but overall good!

It was a nice stay. We took a Junior Suite with the private onsen included.
The room is not huge, but has everything needed and is cozy enough. There are many amenities (in the pure Japanese hotel tradition) as well as a ”Yukata bar” in which you can choose your fav yukata.
The biggest perk of the room is obviously the private onsen, which is a truly hidden gem. Very relaxing with a nice seaview.
Staff was very helpful with the clogged sink (came just a few minutes after we called).
The dinner was an impressive buffet, with a wide choice of seafood both to cook (the oysters, abalone and other shells to be grilled were wow) and raw (ikura all you can eat). Besides that, there was a steak live cooking station, shabu shabu as well as sukiyaki.
Definitely a recommended stay!
The hotel is conveniently located not far from Hiroshima Station, with a large supermarket directly across the street. Both beds were very spacious. The shower had great water pressure and temperature, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We also had a view of the Shinkansen bullet trains from our window.
As the only option on the island, although the hotel is quite historic, it offers quality services and well-maintained facilities. Both breakfast and dinner are Japanese buffets, and I think the taste is pretty good. The hotel also arranges special activities, where you can watch sea firefly at night. Although you don’t go to the beach, it is still quite special. Rabbits can be found all over the island, especially near the hotel, where you can see them even from your room.

If you want to stay alone in a pretty nice place in Miyajima, I recommend it. Breakfast and dinner are both included, but since Miyajima is expensive, the price is the price, and above all, you can feel treated with unlimited alcohol. The public bath was also great, and ice cream, coffee, etc. are free. On top of that, the staff are so, so, so kind. If I had the money, I would stay a few more days and bring my family.

GGuest UserThe open-air bath on the room was very good. There is also a large communal bath on the 9th floor. The scenery is very good, so we recommend the 5th and higher floors.

GGuest UserThe number of guests on the app did not match the hotel plan.
However, the plan was listed as an available slot, so I should have wondered about it, but I made the reservation without thinking about it. On the day, the number of guests did not match, so I was a little flustered, but the hotel accepted it and dealt with it, which was a relief.
The kaiseki dinner at night was also delicious and looked great!
The location was great and we traveled by car, but there were two parking lots, so it was convenient to go to Miyajima.
At night, there is a dragon boat that allows you to see Itsukushima Shrine, and it is a service that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. I didn't have time to ride it this time, but next time I would like to adjust my schedule to include a private bath and use it.
The guests seemed to be couples of all ages, families with small children, and business entertaining!
DDonaldDongBecause the flight to Okayama was diverted to Osaka and cancelled, we arrived about three hours later than expected. After calling the hotel, they helped us reserve dinner (normally dinner is at 7 o'clock at the latest). After arriving at about 8 o'clock, dinner was served as originally scheduled, which was very good. The room is spacious and very clean, with four beds, and it looks like you can also sleep on the floor. This room is 85 square meters, which is no problem for a family. The decoration quality is very high, and there is a type-c USB port on the wall, a full set of Sony TVs, echo walls, etc. There is only Japanese breakfast, but the room type I booked can go to a room similar to the executive lounge, which has coffee, drinks, small pastries, etc., as well as drinks, all free. The hotel service is very good, and there are waiters who speak English. The shuttle bus to Fukuyama Station takes about half an hour, and the schedule can be checked on the official website. The hot spring is clean, there is also water massage, and there is a sauna room. There is an open-air hot spring pool on the third floor and on the top floor, but it was too cold when I went there. Very good hotel, with few people.
