The hotel has a free taxi service that brings you and comes to pick up from Petra. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is abundant and varied. If you want to make your dinner expressly, really good even if you have to tell it first just because they expressly make you have made us the Maqluba.
For those driving to Petra, this hotel is arguably the best place to stay. It's conveniently located right across the street from the Petra Visitor Center. In the afternoon, we walked over to explore the Petra Museum. The next morning, we made sure to be among the first group to enter the ancient city right when it opened at 7 AM. This allowed us to avoid the intense sun and enjoy the Siq with very few people, making for an incredibly peaceful experience.
The room wasn't large, but it was perfectly sufficient. We received a complimentary box of about five pastries upon check-in, which were quite tasty.
We had an early breakfast just after 6 AM, and as mentioned, were among the first to enter Petra at 7 AM. We moved through the site quite efficiently and were back at the hotel by around 11 AM, allowing us a little rest before checking out at 12 PM and heading to our next destination.
Also, there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel; a quick search on Google Maps will show many options, and the food quality is generally good.
