Hostels in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand

Every time I come to Chiang Mai, I will only stay here. Very good location, close to various places, convenient and fast travel. The room at this price is considered ok. Overall is good. Next time will come to stay again. Here, if you bring a motorcycle or car, you can park right in front. It's very comfortable. Located near Chang Phuak Gate

5 stars hostel with 1 star price! The hostel location is perfect, there are few convenient stores within 1 min walk (7-11, Lotus). The opened air satieties that consist of few famous stalls (Suki Koka, Chang Phuek Pork Leg Rice) also within 1 min walking distance. The room is specious, clean, bed is comfortable! There is no complaint on the facilities and room, nearly perfect! Additionally, the hostel staff are very helpful and friendly. Nine helped me with check in and assisted me to rent a motorbike. She is kind and lovely, kudos to her! Without any doubt, I will definitely come back whenever I visit Chiang Mai.

Needed a place in Chiang Mai for 4 nights. Didn't care about luxury but didn't want the cheapest place I could find either. Came across this on Agoda and thought it might be worth a try. It's 150 Baht ride from The Chiang Mai Airport. I arrived Check in Was quick and easy. The room is immaculate. Small but very clean. Great bed flat screen TV many many channels. The air condition is fantastic. It's a hostile but it also has. Individual rooms Which is what I booked. It's unbelievable value. 22.50 a night. They don't advertise free breakfast. But they have a common area just behind reception. With a big screen TV and it's got a full kitchen that everybody is welcome to use. If you clean up after yourself, they have all the utensils. They do have a small breakfast in the morning, which is free to everybody who stays here. Although they don't advertise. It waffles cereal coffee tea toast. Basic But very nice. They also have four or five bicycles that are available free of charge to use which is a tremendous perk. There are a couple of negatives but based on the value for money. I can work around them. Number one no room safe number two When you take the key card out when you leave the room the refrigerator also loses electricity. First I've seen this most hotels I've stayed at. Had the refrigerator socket wired to stay hot, even when the key card was out. And it would be nice if they had a chair. In the room nothing fancy just a basic chair. Should I find myself in Chiang Mai again? I will definitely use this hotel again. The staff here are very very friendly. From the reception to the room cleaners everyone always smiling willing to help out answer any questions. Making sure everybody has a nice day. I can't recommend this place enough.

First I was a bit afraid because Slumber Hostel is a party hostel. And I am not a partyer. I care about my sleep. I guess I was lucky because I was in a 4-bed dorm with very quiet people who also went to sleep pretty early. And it seemed that there were no parry people at all while I was there, I haven't heard a single sound of music/loud speakers in the night. It was perfect. (But they do warn you when you check in that you have to expect noise since it's a party hostel! So I guess sometimes it gets really noisy). I really liked the hostel's design, it all looked very new and clean. That's a big plus! Although they (strangely) don't provide blankets (you can rent one for 75 baht!), they did give me a free towel. Also there isn't any free filtered water available, so they want you to purchase new bottles. Business. They have a menu, which is extremely expensive (149 for a pancake for example). But given the cheap room rate (just over a 100 baht) it was really OK and I don't regret staying here. The location is also great! It's close to everything. Sam at the reception was very friendly. Everything is perfect There is a common lounge area for watching movies and playing games. The room is clean, the beds are comfortable, and there are bicycles to borrow and ride.

It is connected to a cafe, so you can enjoy the scent of coffee while walking back and forth. I used a dormitory, and the air conditioner was very cool, and the shower room and toilet were kept clean. There are times when the password doesn't work when entering, but you will quickly get used to it after trying it a few times.

Cozy inn chiangmai ... Located at very strategic area, city centre of chiangmai ... Surrounding by hotels, cafe, resto temple, massages, travel agents, and streetfoods as well ... This is my second time stayed at this hotel, small and nice hotel, also makes me feel comfort ... I always stayed here about three weeks ... Close to the buak park, which a very beautiful public park, full of flowers ..., also close to phrasing temple, whish is very popular temple in chiangmai ...

This was a nice place to stay. Definitely was more of a hotel vibe. There are no activities that the hostel hosts. I rarely saw another guest. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was always someone at the desk or close by. No security guard, but there are cameras. The door to rooms is locked during the day, but not at night, which is odd, I think it should be the other way around since there is someone there during the day but not after 11pm.

Fantastic hospitality. The staff have helped us with all our trips whilst in Chiangmai. Super friendly. Clean hostel. Lobby is super super chill. Also amazing lovely cat! Area is great also, lots of nice cafes, bar and shops to get any all essentials. Would definitely recommend.

Not bad, I just ride from Mae Hong Son to Chiangmai, it was raining so I can only book a hotel near by. The location is easy to find.
