The service was great and the location was convenient. Considering the affordable price, it's pretty good if you don't compare it to beachfront hotels. It's a good choice for a stay the day before your flight off the island. Excellent value for money!

The hotel is nice for the price of low $223 but they charge $45 per day of activity fees but I never used. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the central Waikiki area but is OK. The breakfast buffet is good and includes in the room package. The only problem is that they only have valet parking for $60 per day. It took them 45 minutes in the morning to get my car down on day 1 and we missed the tour. The other days were 10 to 15 minutes. I guess they don’t have enough parking so they have to double park and triple park. I tried to park at the adjacent Banyan lot but all full after 8pm. There are no other viable option other than valet parking in the hotel.

I stayed three nights in a partial ocean view room and four nights in an ocean view room. If the price difference isn't significant, definitely opt for the ocean view room – the experience is so much better (the partial ocean view room barely has any ocean view to speak of). The room itself was decent, and the cleanliness was okay, but the towels had a strange smell. The hotel's location is super convenient. The second floor connects directly to the Ala Moana shopping center, and there's a Don Quijote next door, making it very easy to shop and eat. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Waikiki, or a 30-minute walk. Personally, I prefer the nearby Ala Moana Beach, it's very chill. Car rental parking is also convenient. El Royal Lahaina es un hotel ubicado en un entorno ideal para parejas. Dispone de muchas actividades como clases de hula que vale la pena aprovechar o conciertos en un entorno relajado y romántico a la luz de la luna. Except for the location near the airport I wouldn't recommend this hôtel. It's dirty and noisy. And when the breakfast is included in the price of room, you get coupon for the restaurant. The choice of food for breakfast is very small. And it's either coffee (a very very bad one) or water (a very very small bottle). And then you are allowed to eat in the restaurant and you have to take away and eat in your room as there is no other places to eat. This breakfast is a joke :(

We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience. First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway was noticeably dirty upon arrival, with visible streaks from a wet cloth — quite unpleasant for a hotel of this level. I also reported that the faucet in the sink splashed water everywhere, soaking the countertop and the floor. I was told the issue would be checked, but nothing was fixed throughout our stay. The two-faucet system used to regulate water in the bathroom was also very inconvenient, and we consistently had problems with unstable hot water pressure. A separate major issue was the parking. I prepaid and reserved parking for 5 days, but on the second evening all the spots were already taken, and I was simply instructed to park in a different building nearby. This was extremely inconvenient — having to carry things from the 3rd floor of another parking structure and waste additional time. It turned out that even if you pay in advance, your parking spot is not guaranteed — anyone from outside can take it. So you pay, but end up without the service you were promised. Overall, the staff tried to provide good service, but the organizational issues, maintenance problems, and poorly managed parking system seriously reduced our comfort. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

This is the largest Hilton resort in the world, with many pools but no swimmable beach. The hotel has dolphins and turtles. I recommend staying in MAKAI for a better environment and more convenient access. However, the hotel is quite suburban, so you'll need to rent a car to get to the city center. There's a $5 one-way shuttle bus available within the hotel.

A well-regulated resort hotel with first-class facilities and service. It doesn't feel too good, because it is all self-service~ There are many swimming pools, and there are beach pools. The waves are big. You can't go to the sea. The room is large and the laundry room is fully equipped~ The experience is good. But in February, it is not recommended that everyone come, affecting the experience, the weather is not good, the wind is strong, there is rain~

Outstanding service from the moment we arrived at the front entrance. Friendly, knowledgeable staff were able to answer all of our questions and accommodate all our requests. Room was nicely appointed and generously sized with ample room in the walk-in closet for our 8 full-sized checked bags (we stopped through HI in the middle of a move 🙂). Had two double beds and a hid-a-bed which was perfect for our family of four. The small refrigerator in the room was just the right size for water bottles and some snack/breakfast food we picked up at the Target just across the street. Appreciated being able to check out fresh beach towels pool-side each day. That saved a lot of suitcase space. The balcony was just large enough for a small table and two chairs to catch a great view of the ocean. The hotel is located between prime beachfront on the one side and the International Marketplace on the other, everything you need is within easy walking distance. The kids enjoyed the beginner surf lessons available beachside through Faith Surf Academy, and being able to rent a board to continue surfing over subsequent days. Waves were perfect for beginners and despite there being a fair number of other visitors, there was plenty of room to swim, play, and enjoy the water, though space on the beach itself was a bit tight at times. The one shortcoming we experienced was there not being any self-service laundry on-site. It seems there used to be, but it's unavailable with the current renovation project underway, and I'm unsure whether they intend for it to be part of the updated plan or not. Paid laundry service is available, but we opted to walk down the road to a laundromat. All in all, the whole family enjoyed our time at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and would recommend it.

We stayed in an ocean view room. It was very close to the sea, and the view from the lanai was absolutely stunning. I think it was one of the ocean view rooms with the best views, being so close to the ocean. I'm very grateful that we were allocated this particular room. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly and pleasant, which made our stay enjoyable. The location was also excellent, close to the Duke Kahanamoku statue in the heart of Waikiki. The only downsides were that there was no explanation about the resort points we were supposed to receive as part of our stay. Also, we booked three rooms for six people, but due to their system, we could only process payment for one room at a time. This meant I couldn't use the same credit card for the second room and had to scramble. I'd recommend bringing enough credit cards for each room you book. These two minor issues were a bit disappointing, so I deducted one star from the service rating.
