We stayed with Hue only for two nights but we enjoyed it. The hotel seemed to be new, the service was great and very friendly. We booked all our tours and transfer to El Nido through the hotel. They arranged everything
It’s an ok hotel. Personally, I find that the cleanliness of the room could be better, as well as the quality of the breakfast. It’s not bad compared to other hotels in the area, I think. Also convenient to stay before Agressor liveaboard.
What an incredible stay! We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about Zuri. Starting from the staff - everybody was super nice, helpful and smiley. They even had a thermometer for us to buy when we needed one! The transport was waiting for us at the airport (paid 300php/person one way). The room and bathroom was really spacious and spotless. There’s plenty of space for the clothes and stuff in the bathroom. The room also has a fridge, kettle with coffee/tea choices as well as bathroom alimentaries. The resort area is amazing. The resort is places by the hill a bit away from the town, facing the sea and Coron island. It has 3 pools + 1 kiddie pool, a pool bar, cafe, restaurant, shop, ATM and more. It’s surrounded by greens. You can truly rest there. The breakfasts there were exceptional! Lots of choice, different food both western and Asian. There was also barbecue in the evenings, very tasty as well. We loved it!
The only minor downsides:
- you can’t really control the AC, there’s no remote, you can have it set to fan or cool and set the power 1-10
- there is no reception in the room
- there are not many power outlets in the room
Hands down the best and most value-for-money hotel I've stayed at in the Philippines! Even without considering the price, the hotel itself easily deserves a perfect score. The front desk staff were super friendly and gave us a free room upgrade. The whole hotel just made my eyes light up – stepping from a regular street into this villa-like world was amazing. The room was comfortable, and the shower was great (heaven knows how rare that is in El Nido!). All the staff were incredibly friendly. The restaurant food was consistently delicious. And the best part? Free airport shuttle during working hours! It was so good, I just had to give this hotel a thumbs up.
We stayed at Best Western Plus Puerto Princesa for one night before our flight to Manila, and it was a wonderful experience. After exploring beautiful Palawan, it was the perfect place to relax before continuing our journey.
The hotel is very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. What made our stay special was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and they made sure we had a smooth and pleasant stay.
Even though our visit was short, we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. Thank you to the whole team for taking such good care of us. We would happily stay here again when visiting Palawan!
Room was clean and comfortable with soap and toothbrush in bathroom, just 10 min walk from bars and restaurants, 20 min walk from airport or 100 peso on taxi bike. The breakfast is OK.
The AC was not working properly in the standard room that also has no window. But was upgraded to the Delux room.
A hidden paradise!
Located in a kinda secluded and very peaceful brgy, this beautiful work of art resort saved us from being grumpy after getting stuck in the middle of typhoon.
Staff and their service was above and beyond. With their warm smile and accommodating nature, we couldn’t be happier. We thought they’re the best part addition to this place!
Facility - top tier! Every thing was well thought, from the details to your needs, name it and its there.
Food was good and every day they offer different breakfast selections and wow! Delish!
Pool bar is a great touch too and the cocktails esp the sangria was delicious!
We’re travellers and this is the first time we fell inlove with a resort. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back next year with our family!
Thank you so so much Carpe Diem! You made our vacation very very special and unforgettable!
The rooms were large, clean, and spacious. We only ate at the hotel occasionally, and unfortunately, the restaurant service was quite poor. We were either completely ignored, or our food and drinks took ages to arrive, sometimes only after multiple reminders. Because of this, we chose to visit the surrounding bars and restaurants instead. On the other hand, the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
Nacpan Beach is beautiful – we walked to the end twice, which I highly recommend. El Nido is about 40 minutes from the hotel, which we knew beforehand. There's a swamp behind the hotel, so there were a lot of mosquitoes and sandflies. We got pretty bitten up! Overall, we would still recommend this hotel.
Absolute Paradise
I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special.
One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand bar—a slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical.
The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Dome—the atmosphere is unmatched.
What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals.
We are also incredibly grateful to the team who safely took us to the sandbar—your professionalism was reassuring. Finally, a massive thank you to Agustin at the waterpark for his energy and helpfulness; he made the waterpark experience so much fun for us no.
If you are looking for a flawless stay in Palawan with incredible villas, great food, and staff who genuinely care, book Astoria Palawan. We are already planning our return
