Taiyuan is the largest city and capital of the Shanxi region in China. It is located in the center of Shanxi with Fen River flowing through the city. It is one of the main manufacturing hubs in China. It is an ancient city with 2500 years of history that dates back to almost 497 B.C. The other notable place to visit are Yingze Park and Tianlongshan Grottoes.
