"Facilities: The hotel's decor is simple yet stylish. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, with no obvious dust. Environment: From the 3rd floor window, you can see the South Station and Impression City, offering an expansive view. Service: The front desk staff and cleaning ladies I met were all very friendly. Fairfield by Marriott was our last stop on this Shanxi trip and the most comfortable place we stayed. The hotel's location right next to the train station makes it incredibly convenient for getting around. I highly recommend it to friends visiting Taiyuan! 👍 The hotel also has breakfast on the 2nd floor with plenty of choices and a spacious dining area. Downstairs, there's a convenience store and a local specialty shop, and across the street is Impression City shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. The only slight regret is that I heard the laundry room was temporarily out of service; I hope it's fully operational next time I visit. Overall, the hotel is still fantastic! 😃"

"This hotel is a hidden gem! The neighborhood outside was a bit chaotic, but once I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The cleanliness was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jin'nan. The breakfast was just okay, but you can't beat the price. The heating was fantastic. I highly recommend the Ga La BBQ restaurant nearby; the driver who picked me up suggested it. Their grilled mushrooms tasted just like meat!"

"The room was clean and tidy, very close to Liuxiang Bell Tower Street, but not in a noisy area, so it's a great choice for those who like peace and quiet. It's right next to the Jinshang Museum, and you can cycle to Wenmiao Temple and stroll along the Fen River in about ten minutes, so transportation is convenient. I came early to store my luggage, and the staff were very nice. The breakfast also had a lot of variety. A very satisfying hotel experience."

They offer a dedicated butler service, making communication easy if you have any issues. The front desk manager is diligent and resolves problems promptly."

"This hotel is located in the heart of Taiyuan city, making it very convenient to walk to the Bell and Drum Towers, Food Street, and Liuxiang South Road Commercial Street. Check-in was super quick, and the front desk staff even proactively upgraded me to a lake-view king room. The bellhop was very polite, offering to carry my luggage and escort me to my room. Inside the room, I found a thoughtful note from the housekeeper, who also provided fruit and a late-night snack. The room layout was well-designed, and all towels and bath towels were sealed in paper bags, clearly marked 'sanitized.' I had a very quiet night's sleep; the soundproofing was excellent. The breakfast buffet was quite rich, and I personally found it very much to my taste. The hotel's dining options are also great; I enjoyed the串串 (Chuan Chuan) mini hotpot on the outdoor terrace, which was fantastic. This is a high-quality hotel that I'd definitely recommend and would love to revisit!"

"The bedding was comfortable and the room design was reasonable, but the room had a noticeable smell of new renovations, and the facilities were generally unacceptable. Despite being advertised as a hotel built in 2025, the toilet sliding door was difficult to open, the bathroom sliding door did not close properly, the TV signal was poor and frequently froze and could not be projected, and the air conditioner made strange noises. It was simply impossible to associate this with the quality of a five-star hotel."

The amenities were all top rated: I was particularly happy to have a Dyson hairdryer in the room! But what made my stay there so enjoyable was the 6-star service offered by the Hotel’s manager Darcy and her team. They were super professional, friendly and attentive, and went the extra mile to make sure that the set up in my room met my requirements and that I had a great time in Taiyuan.  The breakfast spread was sumptuous and the food was delicious."
