The Rainbow Hotel is located very centrally in Taiyuan and I enjoyed my stay there. I went for a weekend trip in Taiyuan and this hotel was good for my budget and location preference. Great morning walk along the bridge and river too.
The hallway was a little noisy because there was a wedding party during the whole weekend, so I could hear too many people talking throughout the day and night, but I guess that was just my bad luck.
Breakfast buffet was nice also and staff was helpful.

Wow what can i say about this hotel? Well for the price it was excellent! Really clean room with a comfortable bed and great amenities! Vr in room too! I was really surprised at how good this place was, although the location was a slight inconvenience for me (personal reasons), i would happily stay here again and think i will. Even though i checked in after a few glasses of of wine at 3am and speaking little Chinese, the hotel staff were able to process all my details and get me in swiftly! Unfortunately i didnt manage to take any good photos of this place but after staying in kempinski for 2 days, i would choose this hotel over the kempinski

Very good service, including helping me park safely and suggest good places to buy things. Room is well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. Recommend it completely.

Asked me halfway to take off my shoes and go back. It should be to wear repeated slippers for the guests, and the price of the room I booked was 1588. I charged me a deposit of 2000 and refunded me 397. The 5 yuan disappeared out of thin air. I stayed in too many hotels. I met it once, and it was absolutely perfect. Everyone must avoid lightning when booking a hotel. The hotels under Shanxi Cultural Tourism are like this**

Do not stay in this hotel! The whole thing is different, some facilities and decoration are not as good as 7 days like home, some are like star hotels, all kinds of bugs, disgusting, hurry up and close down! At this price, Atour is a hundred times better than it in all seasons!
