Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel is very close to the subway station, which is super convenient. The room is spacious and well-equipped. The mini-bar offers a wide variety of free drinks that are replenished daily. The best part is the complimentary shuttle service offered during concert days – so thoughtful! It really solved a big problem for me.

The service attitude was exceptionally good. When a line started forming for check-in, more staff immediately came to the front desk to assist. They also offer late check-out. The room service was impeccable, and they provided a crib. There were complimentary welcome fruits. The breakfast selection was quite rich, including knife-cut noodles and freshly ground coffee at the counter. The overall environment was very good, fitting the description of an older, established five-star hotel. I requested a non-smoking room in advance, and indeed, there was no smoke smell. The bathroom drain didn't have any unpleasant odors either; generally, there were no strange smells. The window could be opened, which at least prevented stuffiness. In late May, after 8 PM, the air conditioning could be turned on for cooling. The shower water pressure was excellent, which was a big plus. The family deluxe suite had two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a connecting door, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. The room size was ample. The only downside was that the mattress was too soft. The hairdryer was a Dyson model, and the sink was large enough for three people to use simultaneously. The soundproofing was good, and overall, I was very satisfied. The cleanliness was also up to standard. I had read reviews about staff helping with luggage, and traveling by car with an infant, I was really hoping for some assistance. However, no one was at the parking lot. Perhaps this service isn't available unless there's special weather. Parking was very convenient though.

The hotel boasts an excellent location facing the Fen River, offering beautiful riverside views. The rooms are well-equipped with amenities like smart toilets, a huge TV, and a complimentary minibar. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices. Right next to the hotel, there's a restaurant that's clean, affordable, and delicious, serving both noodles and rice dishes with generous portions at great prices. The hotel also provides a high-speed train station shuttle service, though reservations are required. Overall, this hotel is fantastic! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Linfen!

Before booking, I was most concerned about the air conditioning, and I finally got to experience it firsthand. Datong's heating supply runs until April 15th, a full month later than Tianjin. During the heating period, the hotel's air conditioning only provides heat, not cool air. So, contrary to what many online reviews suggested, I couldn't use the AC to cool the room and had to rely on opening the windows to alleviate the heat. However, I couldn't keep the windows open while sleeping, which left me feeling very dry and uncomfortable when I woke up. The first night of my stay was the second day of the Qingming holiday. When I showered that evening, the water pressure from the showerhead was pitifully low, so I had to make do with the handheld spray. Thankfully, the bathtub's water temperature was reliable. By the second night, with a drop in occupancy, both the breakfast service and the shower pressure were much better. The swimming pool is open from 6 AM to 9 PM. I feel it opens too early and closes too early. Wouldn't 8 AM to 11 PM be better? The hotel lobby is very spacious. Since Fenlin Pavilion is located in the Wyndham lobby, the Yungang side actually feels more upscale and grand. Fenlin Pavilion stops issuing numbers before 7:30 PM and closes at 9 PM. For lunch, they're open until 2 PM. Commercial facilities in Datong really aren't that competitive. There's no sliding door between the room's bathtub and the bed, so privacy is nonexistent. The omnipresent crystal chandeliers and mirrors give off a somewhat 'Middle Eastern prince' vibe. The sensor-activated nightlights near the floor get a hundred stars – they're incredibly convenient for midnight bathroom trips. Even a coffee machine and a refrigerator are provided. The breakfast's 'dao xiao mian' (knife-cut noodles) are a specialty, and the coffee is good. However, the dessert selection is meager, with only one or two options.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff members were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was also very good! Our room was comfy and spacious, the only problem we had with it was that it felt too hot for us even with the aircon/heating off and right before we left we could feel some bad smell coming from the pipes. We didn't report this as we were leaving but we're sure the hotel would have helped and sorted this for us (they offered changing our room when we said it was too hot for us, for example). The location of the hotel was very useful to explore the ancient city and the hotel helped us book a private car to see the grottoes and hanging temple - great experience! We'd consider staying here again if/when we visit Dating again. :)

Thanks to Nanshe, our trip to Datong was incredibly enjoyable and pleasant, offering a sense of security just like home. The guesthouse is located inside the ancient Datong city wall, which is an excellent location, making it very convenient to visit famous attractions and long-standing restaurants, all within walking distance. The room was clean, tidy, and well-arranged—small yet cozy. We even had foreign guests in the room opposite ours 😉. The two housekeeper sisters provided attentive and responsive service, always ready to offer advice. On our first day, they recommended the nearby Dongfang Xiaomian restaurant, a local favorite for sliced noodles; you can't go wrong with anything you order there! 😁 On our second day in Datong, we experienced a sandstorm, a rare experience for someone from the coast. We stayed at Nanshe for three days, and because of Nanshe, I fell in love with Datong.

Hotel no problem service are nice breakfast fascinating.But still a bad experience of my travel cuz the most terrible air conditioner ive ever seen in the big hotel.really big noise and can't control the temperature no matter the number on the conditioner always the same temperature made me can't sleep during the whole night.Bad experience......

The location is excellent, very close to some of Taiyuan's most famous streets, next to Ninghua Mansion. The aroma of vinegar brings back memories of years ago when I would buy vinegar before leaving Taiyuan, piping hot ✺◟（∗❛ัᴗ❛ั∗）◞✺ It truly allows you to experience the daily life of a Shanxi vinegar enthusiast. Bell Tower Street, Kaihua Temple, Food Street, and Shanxi Restaurant are all within walking distance. This newly opened hotel offered a fantastic overall experience: elegant environment, cleanliness, complete facilities, friendly and attentive staff, perfect for a tourist stay. I'll definitely come back next time.

The hotel has a great location, close to the high-speed train station. The front desk staff are all very welcoming; they greeted us as soon as we walked in and even helped us with the elevator. The room was clean, and complimentary mini-bar drinks were restocked daily. For two nights, we felt like having rice, so we dined at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The dishes were reasonably priced, and the rice was delicious.

Traveling with our 2-year-old for a weekend getaway, booking this hotel saved us so much hassle! We decided not to drive since it was a bit far, and with all our luggage and pushing the stroller, our hands were full. The hotel thoughtfully arranged pick-up and drop-off service for us. The location is excellent, very close to the ancient city and the main district, so we could walk almost everywhere. The hotel's food was also good and met our baby's dietary needs. The hotel's design is truly impressive, perfectly blending with Datong's ancient city and grotto art. From the doors, windows, and pathways to the water features, plants, lighting, and even the fragrance, everything is subtly integrated and understated, making it a fantastic spot for photos.
