Beach Hotels in Kaafu Atoll, Maldives

A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable...

Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. Our stay at Bandos Maldives was truly magical, from the moment we stepped onto the island to our farewell breakfast. The island itself is beautiful: well-maintained tropical gardens, clean and comfortable rooms with lagoon views, diverse and delicious cuisine, and a plethora of options for both active and relaxed leisure – from snorkeling by the reef to spa treatments and water sports. Everything was flawlessly organized with genuine attention to guests. We especially want to highlight the atmosphere: the team at Bandos does everything to make your vacation effortless and joyful. The staff was consistently polite and smiling, quick to address any requests, and the service was thoughtful and unobtrusive. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness, order, and efficiency at the reception and in the restaurant. Special thanks go to Lepkha, the bar staff member – her warm and attentive service made our evenings truly cozy. Lepkha not only expertly prepared cocktails but also tailored drinks to our mood, offered excellent recommendations, and always greeted us with a smile. Her care and sincerity left the warmest impressions and made our holiday unforgettable. We recommend Bandos Maldives to anyone looking for a combination of relaxed island living and high-level service. The room was new. The bed was comfortable. Although there was no pool, it wasn't really needed. It only cost a little over 10,000 RMB per person for five nights during this season. There were many cute fish swimming under the water villas at night. However, sea turtles and small sharks were more common in the snorkeling area. I loved the lighthouse restaurant. The service was warm and welcoming. The butlers, especially the Chinese-speaking one, were very responsible and patient. Most importantly, it's only a speedboat ride away, which is really convenient. However, if you're traveling with children, you should visit the water sports center to find more activities. It's a great place to relax, drink coffee, and play in the water. You need to be able to calm down to truly appreciate the beauty of the Maldives. During our stay, it was mostly cloudy with sunny days and no rain. We were really lucky. The hotel's service and food quality left a deep impression on me. I think I'll definitely come back again. Once you've been to the Maldives, you'll want to come back countless times.

Our stay at Dhawa Ihuru exceeded all expectations. We chose this destination based on its reputation as an excellent spot for snorkelling, and it truly lived up to the hype. The reef exits were clearly marked, and the abundance of colourful coral fish was mesmerising. Each snorkelling session brought encounters with new species, and we were thrilled to swim alongside blacktip sharks and a hawksbill turtle. Adding to the charm, the resident grey heron was always nearby, occasionally acting as an extra reef exit signpost. We also spotted the national bird, the white-breasted waterhen, and a black-naped tern, which added to the magical experience. The hospitality at Dhawa Ihuru was equally impressive. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and their attentiveness made our stay even more memorable. For instance, the General Manager greeted us warmly every time we crossed paths, always inquiring about our experience at the resort. At the front desk, Elena and Hannah went above and beyond to provide flexible and insightful advice. Thanks to Elena’s help, we were able to join an unscheduled dolphin cruise, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience with the super energetic spinner dolphins. In the restaurant, Eni ensured our dining experience was seamless, while Nish at the bar offered exceptional service. And, of course, the food was outstanding—abundant, delicious, and full of variety. Every meal was a delight, adding another layer of enjoyment to our stay. Dhawa Ihuru comes highly recommended and we can’t wait to return!

Perfect hotel. I think it's one of the best I've ever stayed in. The service, the flora, the fauna, and the way they care for the island are truly commendable! Well done! They offered complimentary gifts and were very proactive. And the food here is excellent too! I wholeheartedly recommend it. This is the very first resort hotel in the Maldives, yet it feels like it was just built! Amazing!

We originally booked Kaani Beach Hotel but we were pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade to Kaani Palm Beach with a sea-view room. The view was absolutely amazing and made our stay even more special! 🌊😍 The staff were friendly and welcoming and we had a really enjoyable experience overall. We also booked our water sports tour package through the hotel and we had a lot of fun during the excursions. One small tip: you can also book tours outside the hotel in Maafushi, where you may find them a little cheaper. But for us, the convenience of booking through the hotel was worth it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Kaani Palm Beach for a relaxing and memorable stay in Maafushi! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives. The resort is very clean and well maintained, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, always greeting us with warm smiles and making sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference and made us feel very welcome. The food selection was impressive, with a good variety catering to different ethnic tastes. No matter what you prefer, there is always something delicious to enjoy. One of the biggest highlights of this resort is the fishing experience. They offer both sunrise and sunset fishing trips, as well as private chartered boats. The absolute selling point is that the chef will cook one fish you catch for free, prepared beautifully and incredibly fresh — a truly unforgettable experience. Overall, Holiday Inn Kandooma is a fantastic choice for a Maldives getaway, especially for those who enjoy fishing, great food, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended! 🌴🎣

The sea in Maldives is the most beautiful island I have ever visited. The sea water is clear and blue, with distinct colors. The island is warm and private. The service is attentive and thoughtful. The food on the island combines the styles of different countries, including Southeast Asia, East Asia, and European markets. This is a beautiful trip. I will come again if I have the chance in the future. I highly recommend the sunset stilt water house.

I really had a fantastic stay at the resort. The staff were super friendly and went that extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The amenities were enough to keep up entertained and the excursions weren’t too expensive either. I must mention, they had a fantastic local band on the Friday named “the Prizem”, loved em. The water surrounding the resort is beautiful and clear, however, sadly the coral was mostly dead. Also, one bit of advice. It’s definitely worth spending that little bit extra to go All inclusive, like myself. The meals and drinks are on the high side and you won’t regret going AI, trust me. Overall it’s a great little resort for a great price for what I paid.
