Beach Hotels in Abruzzo, Italy

The shutter in the bedroom is broken so it is not possible to make it dark. No breakfast included while the hotel I took in the same city and at the same price the week before was better located and more comfortable at all levels offered one.

During our recent Italian vacation, we found ourselves at loose end when our reserved VRBO turned out to be unacceptable. Luckily, we found the Regent and were able to reserve four rooms with zero notice. Not only did they have rooms available, they were balcony rooms facing the ocean. Additionally, one of their staff members, Simona, was especially accommodating. She found a minibus to bring all seven of us and our luggage to the hotel, and was gracious and kind throughout. The hotel was clean, had plenty of hot water, and AC in every room. After our dreadful VRBO experience, we couldn’t have been happier!

Fantastic setting right in the middle of the city center and the main shopping street, though easy to reach by car. Friendly staff and easy check-in and check-out. Nice quite rooms and excellent breakfast even in these Covid times. Private enclosed and convenient parking at 50m of the hotel for guests.

Excellent 4* seafront hotel located 2 km from the town of San Vito Chetino where the coastal ***** from Ortona to Vasto begins, characterized by the presence of trabocchi, i.e. ancient fishing machines on stilts built by the peasant population of the coast to be able to catch schools of fish as an alternative to boat fishing. The hotel, equipped with large rooms with modern furnishings in light tones and equally comfortable and equipped bathroom areas, has parking, large lounge areas and terraces and both internal and external relaxation areas where you can enjoy the view of the sea and the overflows. Attentive and helpful service, ample and tasty breakfast with sweet and savory options. Having had the opportunity to stop for an evening, we were also able to test the restaurant which offers refined fish-based dishes with interesting land contaminations based on truffles, etc... Very good quality/price ratio, even if the period of our. stay gave us the opportunity to take advantage of low season offers. We have already been twice having had to stay in the area for work commi**ents. The positive experience encouraged us to return for a spring weekend so as to enjoy the possibility of excursions on the long cycle path in front of the hotel.

We stayed a week here. Accessibility wise, it is only a short walk to the beach and restaurants BUT it is down and then up a very steep hill. Unless you like fish, most of the nearby restaurants will not suit you. Would recommend having a car due to these facts. There is a courtesy mini bus service to a beach which was at a cost of €25 euros per day inc umbrella, chairs etc. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice. The food was very good but is a limited menu. Portion size on the small size. We ate breakfast most mornings which at €5 is good value for money . Varied buffet breakfast with lovely local bread and cakes, fruit yoghurt etc, cold meat and cheeses and scrambled eggs. We booked 6 months in advance and were disappointed with the room allocated to us. We had booked a superior room and queried on the first night if that was what we were in. We were assured we were……but….. on further conversation the next day with very helpful check in desk staff, it became clear we were in one half of a family room. There was not much difference in amenity except the superior room was approx 8-10 m2 bigger…..so a huge difference. We were subsequently moved on night 3 of 7 so this aspect was disappointing and the photos on the website of various rooms are very misleading. We felt slightly cheated over this. There is also an issue with noise from other rooms which is audible for sure but did not cause us any significant issue. In terms of the rooms and public areas, the gardens and pool areas are very pleasant to spend time in. The restaurants for breakfast and dinner are ok too. The rooms and corridors are tired and do need refreshing in our view, especially the bathrooms which are showing signs of age with black mould in a lot of the grouting. Lastly, the staff throughout the hotel were outstanding in every respect. The service was exceptional…… friendly, informative, professional and efficient. 10/10. Had this not been the case we would have reviewed it at 3/5.

Hotel in line with the price paid , except for breakfast that is much higher . Clean rooms . Personal available and friendly , comfortable parking and always available . B&b is located near the central Umberto road. It is difficult to find free parking in the area but a few steps away is the parking for payment of the station. And here the positive notes end. I'm sorry to always make negative reviews, but I hope that this can be a stimulus for managers. But inside it looks like a basar, poorly-tracked entry with furniture put to the mouth. Small room, date furniture and different from each other. Recently renovated but small bathroom. Phon in poorly-tracked furniture. The morning was hot water, and it was impossible to do a shower; the evening was a thread after a half-direct water was left flowing. Breakfast in line with the rest, non-branded products even with a variety of products (sweet only, not salted).

Be welcomed by a warm goodnight at the marina reception after a long working day was freezer .... Appetizer ... And then shower in a 4-storey room ... At the wake the sea ...... After the wake breakfast.. Here too, Marisella's smile and good-day have been taken by me in the same way in quake work I, since my job is her are equal to contact with people, People who have education ... Hotel located directly on the sea of Ortona, with a large parking, a large clean pool with solarium and very well-treated private beach. The hotel offers all comforts, you can enjoy relaxing away from noise pollution, you can sleep or rest in total silence. The restaurant service is excellent, either in the room, in the pool or in the square of the hotel dedicated to restaurant and bar, and a area is dedicated to poke and good gastronomy pans. For us it is now almost a fixed target for when we need to remove the spine. Prices in line with the offer.
