Most hot springs in BC are quite remote, often located in deep wilderness indigenous territories, requiring a 4x4 to reach and offering very basic facilities without hotel amenities. Harrison Hot Springs, on the other hand, is a convenient and well-established natural hot spring near Vancouver. The water quality is excellent, rich in minerals like soda and magnesium, and it's incredibly relaxing and therapeutic after a soak. You can choose a standard room with a lake view, which is close to the springs, or a newer mountain view room in the East Wing, which is a bit further. Avoid the old building; while it's closest to the springs, and the small rooms are fine, the mattresses are saggy and gave me back pain – they really should have been replaced ages ago! Also, the carpet in the standard rooms is quite old and worn.
No breakfast, but a simple kitchen, you can help yourself. The hotel is an ordinary motel with simple and functional facilities. The scenery is really good. The hotel is conveniently located next to the road.

Black Rock Oceanfront is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Canada, It is upscale and luxurious. It is located within walking distance of the Trans Pacific hiking trail and the Lighthouse.
It has a heated outdoor pool.and a hot tub overlooking the ocean, as well as a fitness room. There are two oceanfront restaurants. They offer the same menu. One is more formal while the other has a casual bar-like feel. The food is very good although pricey, like most places in Ucluelet and Tofino.
Our room at the lodge was large. It had a spectacular view of Big Beach and the ocean from the balcony, which was large enough for more than 2 people to sit at. However, you could see and hear your neighbours enjoying their balconies too. There was a large, ultra-modern bathroom with a separate rainfall shower. There was also a 2-person bathtub located next to a covered glass window. If you uncover that window during daylight, you could see the ocean across the room and balcony.
I prefer Ucluelet because it's quieter than Tofino, and would definitely stay at Black Rock Oceanfront again in a heartbeat.
The room was a good size for three people. The surrounding area was quite empty, and some supermarkets closed early. The hotel was clean, and the service was good. There's a popular steak restaurant nearby, and you'll have to wait in line, as the portions are quite large.
I have been staying at Ocean Resort Hotel for two consecutive Christmas holidays. I like it very much and feel at home! The boss is very enthusiastic and will come to live next year!
In addition to some twists and turns in the reservation, the hotel began to say that it did not receive the money, and later found that I had set the water view, but the order received by the hotel was a higher-level waterfront, and there was a price difference. Later, it was finally solved. After I checked in, I found that there was actually a good view of No. 58, and the sound of the sea was not noisy. Others were either blocked by trees or too close to the water. Choosing water views is also a good choice, and the price is more affordable. There is no restaurant near the hotel, so I choose to dine at the hotel and the taste is OK. Breakfast is also ok.

GGuest UserVery beautiful lakeside environment, but unfortunately because of the wildfire, I can't go out to do activities, I hope I can enjoy it next time.
AAnonymous UserOak Bay Beach Hotel is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, which made the experience comfortable and relaxing. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Overall, the high standard of hygiene and the great service really stood out.

CCarmenThe hotel is a bit old, but the towels and sheets in the room are like brand new, very clean, better than expected👍The hotel is next to various restaurants, convenience stores, and public swimming pools. After dinner, you can take a walk by the lake. It's awesome👍and the price is cheap , good value for money👍
GGuest UserThe room was a bit cramped, lacking a second bedside table, and the bathroom was very tight. The bed and bedding were excellent. It is nice to find a choice of thick and thinner pillows. The Courtyard cafe needs more seating. The parking fee was high. A few negatives but they are mostly outweighed by the excellent downtown location within walking distance of everything we had planned to see and do. We would probably book this hotel again and would recommend it to friends.
YYikehuifeidekaixinguoThe hotel is conveniently located right above Canada Place. Stanley Park, FlyOver Canada, and the Gastown Steam Clock are all within walking distance, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. The cruise ship terminal is situated right downstairs, making it a lively and bustling area. We booked a club room, which offered stunning high-floor harbor views and access to the 23rd-floor lounge. While the room amenities were a bit dated, the service was exceptionally attentive and thoughtful. This level of dedicated service is particularly commendable in North America, and I highly recommend staying here!
AAnonymous UserGood services, clean and tidy room, excellent location, but poor facilities.
The fridge produce heavy noise every 5 minutes so I have to power it off to guarantee to fall asleep, the thin wall can't prevent noise of ventilation fan in neighboring wash room, I can even feel my bed is shaking, thank god they finally turned it off before 0:00.
I just want to be fair in reviews, hoping they do some improvement since it is really lovely hotel with good location.
