Our stay at Manon Boutique Hotel Semarang was a mix of pleasant surprises and a few frustrating moments. First, the good things. Since the hotel lobby isn't located on the ground level, the security staff was very helpful in assisting us with our luggage, which we really appreciated. Check-in and check-out were also quick and hassle-free. Unfortunately, the bathroom could use some attention. The shower drain didn't drain properly, leaving water pooling on the floor and making the shower area a bit slippery. The shower pressure was also quite weak, so it took quite a while to rinse off. The hot water worked, but it was only warm rather than genuinely hot. Another thing that caught us off guard was our room window. The room had a window, but instead of a view or natural light, it faced another wall. We had a little laugh when we opened the curtains because we weren't expecting that. I suppose it's there to make the room feel less enclosed, but don't expect any morning sunshine. The most confusing part of our stay was the breakfast arrangement. The night before checkout, my husband asked whether we could have our breakfast packed to go since we planned to leave very early. The hotel staff initially told us it wasn't possible. Later that evening, however, someone from the restaurant informed us that takeaway breakfast could indeed be arranged, so we thought everything had been settled. The next morning, my husband checked with the receptionist, who had no idea about our breakfast request. He then went to the restaurant, where they also seemed unaware. After returning to our room and calling the restaurant directly, they finally prepared our breakfast. We still have no idea where the miscommunication happened, but fortunately we had already decided to cancel our early morning plan. Otherwise, we probably would have left without breakfast. We also weren't informed about takeaway drinks, and by then we were simply too tired to ask. Thankfully, the breakfast itself made up for a lot. The Monte Cristo Bliss sandwich was absolutely fantastic and easily the highlight of our stay. Would we come back? Maybe—for the Monte Cristo Bliss alone. The hotel has many positives, but communication between the front desk and the restaurant definitely needs to be improved. With better coordination and a few maintenance fixes, the overall experience would have been much smoother.

All the staff are friendly. Although the room wasn't too big, it was clean, and the toilet was clean. What I liked most was the balcony. The AC was cold, and there were no issues with the hot water. The breakfast had many options, even though I only enjoyed the salad, fruit, and pastries. It didn't feel like I was in a hotel; it was really comfortable, just like home. The restaurant staff were all friendly too. I bought food from outside and they were happy to heat it up for me and lend me utensils. There's also a coffee shop right in front, so no need to go anywhere else. Every Friday and Saturday, there's an 'angkringan' (street food stall) on the hotel terrace with live music. Now, when I go to Solo, I don't want to stay at any other hotel; I'm completely satisfied with Fim by Zigna.

On my frequent business trips to Semarang, I always stay at the PO Hotel, which is conveniently located next to Paragon Mall. It's a 5-star hotel in the city center, offering a nice staycation experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and for dinner, I just walk to PG Mall through the connected doorway. The breakfast menu is also comprehensive and delicious. My suggestion for PO Hotel would be to upgrade the TVs to smart TVs and add more local channels, specifically Anteve and Indosiar, if possible.

This convenience saves both time and transportation costs, which makes every trip much more enjoyable. Another reason I keep coming back is its outstanding value for money. The room rates are reasonable considering the quality of the facilities and the prime location. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I need for a comfortable stay. The staff are also friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever assistance is needed, making the overall experience even more pleasant. I also appreciate how easy it is to access nearby attractions and business areas from the hotel. Whether I am traveling for work or on vacation, the location perfectly suits my needs. After a busy day, I can simply walk into the shopping mall to enjoy a good meal or do some shopping before returning to my room. Overall, this hotel offers the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and affordability. Its unbeatable location next to the shopping mall and its excellent value for money make it my first choice every time I visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Good place to stay with affordable and reasonable price. This is my view when I’m visiting 3days4 night for my business trip. Services is perfect. But the door seems hard to open. Probably need to improve that. Overall best value.

Overall, I had a very good experience. The hotel offers excellent value for the price, with comfortable rooms, good service, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. The facilities were well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For the price point, I think it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Semarang. I would definitely consider staying here again.

As mentioned on my previous review the hotel tomorrow and provides a really good however aging amenities and hotel experience. The stay was good the food was amazing however I do have to say that in the four star hotel class in central samarang there are a lot of other choices so feel free to take a look at those first but do not leave novotel entirely out of your list.

Overall, it was great! The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel's food and drinks were also good, and they offered some unique and visually appealing cocktails that tasted just as good as they looked. Plus, the view from the room's window was beautiful. Thumbs up!

Omah Alchy Cottages was, without question, the highlight of our trip to Karimunjawa Island. Everything about this place was exceptional. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the island. What truly sets Omah Alchy apart, however, is its breathtaking location. Step outside your bungalow and you're right by the sea. The property has its own jetty stretching out over the water, which became our favorite spot every evening to watch the most spectacular sunsets. Seeing the sun sink into the horizon over the calm sea was simply unforgettable. As an added bonus, guests can use the free canoes to paddle out on the water and enjoy the beautiful surroundings from a different perspective. It's the kind of place where you can completely switch off and appreciate the natural beauty of Karimunjawa. If you're visiting Karimunjawa Island, do yourself a favor and stay here. Omah Alchy Cottages offers an incredible combination of stunning scenery, fantastic accommodation, and genuinely wonderful hospitality. We would return in a heartbeat.

Strategic location, friendly service, clean rooms, and a complete breakfast menu... will definitely stay here again sometime.
