Best Serviced Apartments in Sai Yok

I was very surprised from the pier to the hotel. I stayed for two days and the whole environment and atmosphere were very good. I was particularly impressed by several service staff. Except for the male waiter at dinner time who was not so surprised, the service in the lobby was particularly good. Staff There used to be a very enthusiastic male waiter during breakfast! Another small incident occurred. We bought a package that included lunch and dinner, but when we entered the restaurant, we were directly handed the menu to order, and we were charged extra! On the second night, we went to the restaurant earlier and found out that there was another buffet that was originally included in the price! But we didn’t understand the language, so I wanted to forget it! But a waitress tied a ponytail and took the initiative to come over and care about the dining situation. I told her it was okay, but then she saw my expression and continued to care, so I told her what happened! She was very proactive in helping with it after that! The hotel is also deeply sorry! So I was very satisfied with the whole trip! Will visit again!

Four of us stayed at the River Kwai Resotel resort over the Christmas holiday. Our rooms were bungalow-style with a shared porch. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The shower was very large and the amenities were adequate. They replenished the coffee/tea daily in addition to the waters. Even though other bungalows are very near, they do a great job of landscaping to block the views between them. Breakfast was ample. The restaurant is quite good, especially with its Thai offerings. They have 2 nice swimming pools. The one near reception is a smaller size while the one to the west of the main area is quite large. We enjoyed many swims. There are bikes available for use on grounds. They have some lounge chairs below at their dock. You can arrive by boat or car. The drive in is quite long and through a very rural area. It's quite amazing when you reach the end of the road and see this entire resort unfold. We spent some time and a little money at the neighboring Mon village. Walking up to the caves at the small, national park was also fun. Lots of up & down walking at the resort, too, as it's built into a steep, river valley hillside. Other than the bats at the cave, we didn't see much wildlife. There are a nice assortment of birds attracted to this resort area, however, and the morning serenade is lovely. They do have a small snack hut but the prices reflect that you are quite some distance from any competition. We all enjoyed our stay and do plan to return another time.

Hotel environment itself is awesome with relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, 4 big-bike guests next door were annoying, making loud noise and drinking until next morning. Because of poor soundproofing, I needed to put my earplugs in all night otherwise I was unable to sleep at all. I wish I could just chill and take some fresh air on nice little balcony but they keep playing dance music and smoking in early morning. I ended up with checking out as soon as finishing my breakfast. My recommendation is to avoid wooden standard raft, go for deluxe one. It seems much nicer. stayed on 27 June 2020

Overall accommodation is spacious, good atmosphere, clean, with a lot of parking, with staff to help lift things well. The walkway down to silk is a staircase, but not clear enough to walk, not dangerous. But there is no barrier between the silk, it is necessary to be careful. For the overall scenery, the upper floor is the garden view room, it looks more beautiful and inviting than the raft room. The lawn is beautiful and looks clean. It used to be huge, with a mini zoo and other little attractions. The very large resort is now quiet except for some Russian guests at the pool and corridors. 2 or 3 very large swimming pools. We had a slide which the kids absolutely loved. The room looked old but was clean. We were in the jungle and you could hear sounds you don't often hear, especially at night. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant doesn't look fancy, but it's clean. Our meals were ok and the staff were very friendly. We also had our first massage in Thailand at this hotel. Know that a Thai massage is a very special experience. We expected a smooth and relaxing massage. Wrong! It was crazy stretching and muscle pounding. We had a good laugh!
