The brown Thomson line has a stop at springleaf where the famous yong tau Hoo and Prata are. Grab a bite before commencing your hike spotting blue birds, monitor lizards and squirrels. Springleaf Nature park is one of the small park in Singapore . But despite the small area , the greenery and birds chirping makes the environment more peaceful . Besides that, there is a famous cafe right inside this park which is Vendure Cafe that sells various types of drinks, bunch , set meal and snacks . There is washroom and all sheltered pick up / drop off point . Getting There - By bus is 138, 167 , 169 , 860, 980. Alight at Springleaf Nature Park bus stop or opp Springleaf Nature Park . Thomson MRT Line will be opening from Sep 2021 . You can also take train from Woodlands Mrt station to Springleaf Station which is about 2-3 stations only. Much faster and convenient than bus. Situated next to a canal that is connected to the Lower Seletar Reservoir, there are plenty of wildlife to look out for, including squirrel, monitor lizard, and even an occasional green snake. A good place to immerse in nature for a walk and run. A small tranquil park with a river centrepiece that has plenty of Water Lilies. The park is easily accessible from Springleaf MRT Station. Food and Toilet are available at the main entrance.
