Tengqiao Town

Metodexing's characteristic vine net bridge, not built on ordinary rivers, but built on the area of the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon, across the Yarlung Zangbo River. The builders of the vine network bridge are the Yiba ethnic minority, which is located in the mountain south and Nyingchi regions of Tibet Autonomous Region in China. In recent years, the vine rope and vine net bridge on the Motuo River have slowly disappeared, in order to ensure personal safety, Dexing vine net bridge has been closed in 1997, replaced by a safer steel cable suspension bridge.

The Fuwang Bridge is located in Dexing Township, west of the station of Meduo County in Nyingchi District, Tibet Autonomous Region, and has a history of more than 300 years. It is a strange bridge. The steel-wood bridge spans over the Yarlung Zangbo River, more than 50 meters from the river, the bridge is more than 150 meters long, there are no piers, no wooden boards, and no nails on the bridge. Dexingteng Bridge is one of the most magnificent and most impressive bridges built by the people of the Yiba.
