I was also lucky enough to see Grandpa Tan, Hua Hua, and Ye from a distance without queuing—no more talking, let's get straight to the good stuff! Route: I did a lot of research on travel guides, and in the end, I chose to enter from the west gate because we didn't plan to rush to see Hua Hua; those who do should enter from the south gate. We arrived at the west gate at 7:00, and the park opens at 7:30. After entering the west gate, we didn't stay in the west area but took the sightseeing bus directly to Villa No. 1. After passing the Panda Tower, there are no more pandas to see. Bring some food and drinks, as there are not many options inside, and you can spend 1-3 hours there. Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (bring ID for entry) The base is located in the northern suburbs of Chengdu, and we chose to take the subway to Panda Avenue Station on Line 3. Exit from Exit D, walk 10 meters, and take the scenic area shuttle bus (2 yuan/person) to the South Gate. It is said online that you can take the panda special line from many places in the city, such as Kuanzhai Alley and Chunxi Road Taikoo Li, with a ticket price of 20 yuan. It feels like the journey is long, and by the time the bus arrives, the pandas may be asleep. The subway is economical, and the timing is also accurate. There are 3-4 such shops in Kuanzhai Alley. Any one is the same, I heard that the covered-bowl tea in People's Park is also good~~ In the evening, go to Chengdu's busiest commercial street—Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, IFS. These three are in one area, just walk. My local classmate recommended the Jianshe Alley snack street, which is delicious and cost-effective, recommended to try Chengdu cuisine. Many people recommend visiting the Sun Delivery Room and Moon Delivery Room to see panda cubs, but in most cases, you can only see middle-aged panda mothers who are mostly lazily sleeping.
