Yanjing Lake

The Eyes Lake of Xiangshan Park is located at the north gate of the park, also next to the uphill cableway. The environment here is beautiful, especially in autumn against the red leaves by the lake, very poetic and picturesque. It is also a famous attraction of Xiangshan Park, a place to visit.

The Lake of Glasses in Xiangshan Park is located in the north gate. The two small lakes are connected by a single-hole white stone bridge, shaped like glasses, so they get this name. On one side of the lake, the mountain stone formed a hole, and there is spring water flowing down the river. It is generally called a water curtain.

The biggest fun when I was young was to bring a plastic bottle to the glasses lake to fish for cockroaches. Now the glasses lake is cleaned up and some fish are kept. But there are not as many cockroaches as before.

The Lake of Glasses is located in Jingyi Garden, Xiangshan Park, Beijing. It was built during the Republic of China. Since the lake is composed of two pools, the middle is connected by a white stone arch bridge, like a pair of glasses, the name of the Lake of Glasses.
