The Seven Star Stone

七星石位于天坛七十二长廊东南的草场地中，是按照北斗七星的方位排列的七块巨型镇石，建于明嘉靖九年（1520年），石上刻有山形纹。

七星石在天坛公园东门附近，祈年殿东侧的草坪上，也是祈年殿的镇石。明朝时在此处放置了七块巨石，模仿的是泰山七峰，石头上都有纹路的，表现的就是山峰的形态；后来清朝入关，在七星石边又放置了一块巨石，表示满足也是华夏大家庭的一部分。现在这个地方特别有意思，成了老年人给子女找对象的“相亲角”，好多老人拿着子女的材料在这儿互相交流，真是“可怜天下父母心”呀！
