Lafayette Square, located in Washington, USA, covers an area of about 30,000 square meters and is a very famous leisure place. In 1824, the park was named after the Marquis of Lafayette during the American Revolution. In 1970, the plaza and surrounding buildings were designated a National Historic Landmark.
