Historical Architecture
The White House is the official residence and workplace of the President of the United States. The building was designed by Irish-born architect James Hoban in a neoclassical style. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. and has been the residence of every U.S. President since John Adams in 1800. Burnt by the British during the war of 1812, the White House has been remodeled and expanded several times over the years. While it is possible to tour parts of the White House interior, arrangements are difficult and must be made months in advance. As the symbol of US presidential power, the White House is an enormously important landmark.

Monument
The Washington Monument is a massive obelisk on the National Mall built to commemorate the life of George Washington, the first president of the United States. It is recognized as the world’s tallest stone structure, and is the tallest structure in Washington D.C. The monument is an iconic image of America, let alone D.C., and one would have to really try to miss it on a visit. Relatively unknown is that the monument has an enclosed observation deck at its top that is open for visits at no cost. Book a time slot and make sure to be ready when the elevator opens.

It is located on Capitol Hill at the eastern end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The original building was completed in 1800 and subsequently expanded. Washington’s Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, and Washington Monument are on the same central axis. if you want to take a closer look at the three landmarks, at least half a day, plus a day of eating and drinking. Then look left and right, it is the White House, Kerry Park, National Art Museum, History Museum. The most memorable museum is the Museum of History, you can stay here for at least half a day. These points are very close, and most of them are free. It is recommended to stay in the vicinity of the White House, stay for two or three days, and feel the free and relaxed learning atmosphere.
