Nanning Confucius Temple

Nanning Confucius Temple was built during the Northern Song Dynasty (1049-1054). In 1982, due to the expansion of Nanning Hotel, the old Confucian Temple was finally demolished. The building materials removed were preserved in the Guangxi Exhibition Hall. In May 2007, the main project of the relocation of Nanning Confucian Temple was started, and the relocation was completed on January 30, 2011, which took more than three years. The newly completed Confucian Temple is one of the largest Confucian Temples in Guangxi and even Lingnan.
