Gongga Snow Mountain is located 55 kilometers south of Kangding City and is the main peak of Daxue Mountain. Gongga Mountain is 7556 meters above sea level and is the highest mountain in Sichuan Province. It is a famous mountain favored by mountaineering enthusiasts because of its many high peaks, deep ice and snow, and many dangers. The height of Gongga Mountain is far from comparable to the general famous mountains in the mainland. After climbing on it, looking around, the silver-white snow is crawling under the mountain. Because its altitude is not comparable to ordinary peaks, climbers are required to make adequate preparations to avoid giving up halfway due to fatigue and cold. Climbers mostly reach the top from the northwest ridge route, which is also the experience summed up by predecessors.
