The Indonesian capital of Jakarta is located in the northwest of Java Island and is the political, economic and cultural center of the country. Jakarta, also known as “Coconut City” was just a small fishing village back in the 5th century AD, but is now a sprawling international and multicultural metropolis. The city can be separated into two parts, the old and the new. The old, industrial district is in the north, close to the bay and features unique scenery with numerous monuments. The new district, located in the south, is full of modernity and houses the central business district. Central Jakarta serves as the political center of Jakarta. Most of the buildings here are European in style. Many visitors to Indonesia use Jakarta as a transit point, but a walk around the historic city is well worth the time.
Jyotsna RamaniConsidered as one of the largest squares in the word, Merdeka pops out if you happen to cross it while driving around Jakarta. It is one of the top attractions and drives scores of visitors each day.
The Travel Ladit is Jakarta’s most famous monument and even considered to be one of Indonesia’s iconic places to visit. It is located at central Jakarta across the Indonesian Presidential house. definitely worth the trip to visit and take memorable pictures at Monas.
CoachBeautiful, just beautiful! I would love to have experienced a worship here but I got there right as it was closing. Still worth seeing from the road. Like I said, beautiful building.
DIVINE BRIGNAS SALUDAGA See? Heritage is really important to them. I was amazed how good were they in terms of arts. The exhibits there were so fascinating. They kept even the gold ones. They were able to preserve those antique through centuries. Even bones and the history of their humanity is evident.
肯莫尔珍妮芙[Scenery] I have been here many times. The underwater world has many fishes that are not normally seen. It is suitable for family trips, especially those with children. Look at the different fishes, and there is a long corridor with fish on both sides and on the top, it feels like it is under the sea.

Speaking of the interior, the room design was pretty stylish. The room was pretty spacious and the furniture items were quite modern and new. I asked for a room on the quieter corner and got one on the 7th floor. What I didn't like was I could see the corridor from my window, meaning that guests walking in the corridor could see through my window. #staycation

Located in one building together with Harmonie Exchange mall (HXC) and Yello hotel. During this pandemic please expect queuing for check in and breakfast since they gather Harris Vertu and Yello hotel at the same time and location. The room was clean and comfort with the Monas view. #staycation

If you’re bored with the same old classic hotel room, you should try this special room in here. The room has a theme called My Room - Old Transportation and it’s only available in this hotel branch in Sabang. A very unique design all over this room is really special as it is very artsy and beautiful! #staycation

Cipir Island is one of the three island that has been titled as heritage site by the local government. In this island you will find plenty of building ruins which used to be a hospital and storage. The highlight of this island is the monitoring tower at the back of the island. In this tower you can see onrust island and bidadari island which are located nearby.
This island is also well facilitated with public bathroom and also public pantry that makes it easier for you who decide to camp a night in this island.

Onrust Island is the first island Ive visited at Kepulauan Seribu. This island one of the three island that has been classified as heritage site by the local governor considering the long and dark history that happened in this island at colonial era.
There is much to explore if you are a big fan or curious about Indonesian colonial era history. You will find plenty of ruins surround the island, Dutch cemetery complex at the back of the island and also a sacred cemetery whose belong to S.M. Kartosoewirjo. The only single building that still standing has been used as Museum that displayed the history of Onrust Island.
Retribution fee IDR 5.000,- will be charged to enter this island.

Good to know Jakarta citizen has a big friendly kids park especially the skate section is quiet big area. It was clean area from trash and tenda2 jualan but now tenda2 jualan are inside the area.
The area is big and car park is available but limited.
Better you take public transport by bajaj or taxi from Kota Tua as it is difficult to park your car. For motorcycle, I guess you can park anywhere around there or inside. The electronic parking machine was working and now dead so you gave extra parking fee.
The place is crowded from time to time so be mindful of your belonging and your kids. The place is big from one end to the other end. Night time is more crowded that day time but nice area because the lights is up.
Overall, is good to have big park ever built in Jakarta.

Not many guests even on Sunday. However Playparq offers a good bargain for its entering fee. On Sunday the ticket price is 100 K IDR for 1 child + 1 accompanying adult. And extra 10 K IDR only for each extra companies. Ticket price is way cheaper on weekdays
With price like that, the child can play the whole day.
Playparq is full with activities suitabe for pre schoolers. It has big spiral slides, water play, swings, etc. Even the indoor playground can make a child spent hours in it.
We had a great fun day in Playparq Bintaro!

Went there for a 2D1N trip. It is a beautiful island with no vehicles other than boats! Around a 2-3 hours boat journey there, it provides a good welfare system with air conditioned boats (though it might not be the strongest). Upon arriving they gave us a refreshing coconut which shows their great welfare to us.
Air is fresh, room is comfy and food is really good! Do remember to bring your snorkel set and fishing rods as there are many fishes! Do go snorkeling at the beautiful seaside during Low tide and fishing at high tide! Also, we saw dolphins at night!
Only down side is that the bathing water is both cold and salty.
