Photos of the Tians' Ancestral Hall

Tian's Ancestral Hall is one of the two large-scale ancestral halls in Phoenix (the other is Yang's Ancestral Hall). It was built in the seventeenth year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1837). The tribe donated money to build it, and Tian Yingshu, the son of Tian Xingshu, ordered the construction to be completed after spending huge sums of money. Tianjia Ancestral Hall is quaint and has ethnic characteristics. It has a gate, a main hall, a stage and more than 20 houses. There are patios and Tianchi in the courtyard. In front of the gate of the ancestral hall is a six-level fan-shaped step made of red sandstone strips. There are a pair of stone statues and a pair of stone drums on both sides of the gate. The gate is divided into three rooms on the left, middle and right. , full of style. The main hall in the courtyard is magnificent. The stage is a hexagonal building with cornices. There are secondary rooms for the actors to rest on the left and right. The elegant and exquisite houses are exquisite in workmanship and have a great charm.
