It's grape harvest season again! The Kyoho grapes around San Diego are bursting with sweetness and juice — traveler post in Temecula

It's grape harvest season again! The Kyoho grapes around San Diego are bursting with sweetness and juice

After waiting a whole year, this Kyoho grape farm in Temecula is finally open! I finally got to experience grape picking 🍇 The first batch this year is super sweet and juicy, totally beats the freshness and taste of supermarket grapes 👍 It's said to be a family-run farm and the largest Kyoho grape vineyard in Southern California! 🍇 At the entrance tent, find the owner to get a basket and scissors. Pick whichever bunch you want, then go back to the tent to weigh and pay (cash or card accepted, cash can help with rounding off). However, this year only Kyoho grapes are available for picking. If you don’t want to pick yourself, you can also buy the grapes they’ve already picked👌 The owner's wife is super nice, maybe we hit it off 😆 When we went, she even gave us a whole bunch of grapes, the green Sunshine Rose grapes are insanely sweet. They didn’t open self-picking for those this year, but you can still buy them. I think Kyoho grapes have more flavor and are super juicy 👍 ☀️ Tips: Be sure to protect yourself from the sun! Wear a hat, sunglasses, and sun-protective clothing—it’s really hot and sunny! Remember not to wear sandals, the ground is all dirt, and watch out for bees (don’t spray perfume). It gets melting hot in the afternoon 🔥 It’s better to go on a cloudy day for more comfort. 🍇 Farm: KHM Produce, INC. 📍44570 Highway 79, Aguanga, CA 92536 📆 Weekdays 12:00-18:00, Weekends 10:00-18:00 (mid-August to early September) 🅿️ Plenty of parking space next to the farm 💰 Prices: 💜 Kyoho grapes with a slightly tart and juicy taste $7/lb 💚 Sunshine Rose (Golden Shine Muscat) sweet and delicious $13/lb Southern California’s grape season only comes once a year, so you really have to go early. The season ends in September 😆 Miss it and you’ll have to wait until next year 🤣

LA surrounding | Recommended towns suitable for couples to spend a whole day on weekends — traveler post in Temecula

LA surrounding | Recommended towns suitable for couples to spend a whole day on weekends

| Recommended towns suitable for couples to spend a whole day on weekends. Temecula is also known as the Little Napa in Southern California. Located between LA and SD, each is an hour’s drive away. Perfect for couples in Southern California to hang out for a whole day. 🚗Recommended round trip for the day: Stop 1️⃣: TOAST to fill your stomach It’s my first time to check out the place, and overall it’s very good! His Benedict is really great! But the steak is a bit ordinary. The price is reasonable, $20 per person, but the waiting time is a bit long, 30 minutes... 📌Address: 31093 Temecula Pkwy d6, Temecula, CA 92592 Stop 2️⃣: Rub the animals at Sugarplum Zoo This is the part I'm most looking forward to ~ it's so healing! Escape the city life and come to Temecula Seeing the little animals basking in the sun and eating grass leisurely is a great way to relieve stress on the weekend Forget all your worries 📌Address: 39695 Berenda Rd, Temecula, CA 92591 Stop 3️⃣: Wilson Creek Winery for a drink I didn't book the wine tour because I booked it too late. It doesn't matter. You can buy tickets directly for wine tasting. 💲25/6 drinks, but the bartender was quite excited and gave us one more drink, which equals to 7 drinks in total When they drank the third cup, the old couple looked into each other's eyes and their faces turned red and their hearts beat fast. Our favorite drink is Almond Sparkling Because it was uncomfortable to drink wine standing up during the tasting, we asked the bartender to "fill up" for the last two glasses. I regretted it after I filled it up. I felt that our behavior and clothing were like two minors who had sneaked into the adult world. Stop 4: Old Town Temecula, stroll around the town to sober up The name Temecula comes from an ancient Indian language. Meaning: "place of sun" It seems that there is really such a meaning to wandering around the town while tipsy The town under the sunset seems to be shrouded in a thin layer of fairy air. You can visit the handicraft shops, antique shops and boutique galleries in the town. If you live here, you can also go to the small bar to drink a glass of wine brewed by their own farm. But if you have to rush back to LA that night, don’t drink anymore (there are thousands of roads to take, but safety comes first!!)! Finally, here are a few tips: All the attractions, wineries and shops in Temecula town close very early. It will probably close at six o'clock. So when you go out for fun, be sure to leave early. Strictly control the time for each item.
