Day1:Mingsu’s owner arranged Shared car service to pick us up at Wuyuan’s hotel to her homestay @¥30/each. Mr Chen picked us up on a tricycle, quite a bumpy We were briefed on the recent changes as only can enter once to Huangling. Staying here you need not pay for the Cablecar rides. However owner has to book the entrance permit for us. Surprisingly it was quite crowded though it was a Thursday. Owner provided pickup when we exit Huangling.
Day2: Next morning, we went Huangling again. We decided to explore the mountain instead of the drying areas first. All the crowds are in the drying areas. Such peaceful & relaxing hike around the mountain areas where night time it would be lighted up. We headed to Huangling to watch the shows in the evening.
Day3: Explore Xiaoyong Village & accidentally hiked up to the mountain. The people here were friendly and warm. In the evening, we decided to head up to Huangling again to see the light up. It was a Saturday & street food was set up. A nice surprise to try a varieties of food.
Day 4: Morning, hiked up to He Si Zhou Village with only 18 families comprising of old folks. There is a temple up there & an abandoned Cablecar station which was stopped due to Covid. The folks are hoping to be relocated. This is a raw village.
Mingsu’s owner also kindly arranged for us a shared car to Sanqingshan @¥100/each.
🏨 stay in Xiaoyong Village to avoid taking the Cablecar.
🍴 must request for non spicy, non oily food as Huizhou food are pretty spicy.
