Duobao Pagoda, Guangde Temple

Guangde Temple Duobao Pagoda, located 13 kilometers west of the city of Xiang Bengbu City, Hubei Province, built in Mingshi 7 to 9 years (1494 ～ 1496). Xiangyang The Duobao Buddha Tower in Guangde Temple is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. The tower was built in Mingshi for nine years (1496 AD). The masonry is imitated with wood structure, divided into towers and towers. The architectural style is unique and integrates the Chinese and Indian Buddhist architectural style. Octagonal round arc brick column, decorated with stone carving dagger, stone pillar foundation. The foundation is built with stone, high 0.45 meters. There are stone coupon gates on each side of the southeast, northwest, southwest and northeast of the tower, high 1.66 meters, wide 1.02 meters. The eight walls are all carved with stone Buddhas and Buddha statues. There is a stone forehead on the main entrance Buddha. The four words "Multi-treasure Buddha Tower" are engraved. At the upper end of the tower, it is stacked and shallow. Under the armpit, it is carved into three square pieces of stone into the big "Buddha", and the column is equidistant. In the middle of the interior of the tower, there are bricks and eight-fang pavilion-style small towers on the Sumi. The tower is also embedded in stone and stone Buddha on all sides, and decorated with imitation wood building components such as forehead, scale and five buckets. This tower actually acts as a tower column, forming a circular tower room. There is a small door on the left side of the doorway in the northeast direction, which is circled on the interfacing stone steps and can be reached on the top of the tower.

Located in Guangde Temple outside Xiangyang (close to the famous Gulongzhong scenic spot, you can visit together, direct bus), this pagoda is beautifully shaped, said to be built by Nepalese craftsmen, with a distinct exotic style.
