Marathon Group Portrait Sculpture

The bronze sculpture group composed of 99 marathon runners and cheerleaders is located on Xiamen Huandao Road, and the vigorous running posture of the athletes will be solidified on this beautiful track. Each sculpture in this group of sculptures is about 2 meters high and made of cast copper, all using realistic artistic techniques. The sculpture group is divided into three groups: one group is professional athletes, which specifically depicts the dynamic expressions of athletes when they are sprinting hard; the second group is composed of professional athletes and a few non-professional athletes, mainly highlighting their tenacity and fighting spirit. Professional athletes are the main body, focusing on expressing their spirit of participation. The touching scene that took place in the event, the scene of an old man sitting in a wheelchair and being pushed by his relatives to participate in the competition was also permanently fixed.
