Theatre Festival went to see the Kunqu Peony Pavilion with friends. It is located at Wuhan Theater at No. 1012 Jiefang Avenue in Hankou. It is on the east side of Xunlimen on Jiefang Avenue. It is close to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, Youth Palace and Tianan Hotel. The transportation is very convenient. Wuhan Theatre was officially built and used in 1959. With 1,459 seats, it has always been the center of important political activities in Wuhan, and it is also an important theater for Wuhan to receive famous performance groups at home and abroad for cultural exchanges. Although the facilities are slightly outdated, it is still a household name in Wuhan.
