Wuhan Garden Expo Park is the venue for the 10th China International Garden Expo (Garden Expo). After the successful holding of the 10th Garden Expo, Wuhan Garden Expo Park will be permanently retained as a city park. The Garden Expo Park is divided into two major areas, south and north. The first thing you see is the International Garden Art Center. The real-life "crossing" design is the highlight here. During the tour, you can enjoy the tour experience of corridors, walkways, viewing pavilions, and viewing pavilions, and feel the beauty of representative gardens such as Yuanmingyuan, Zhuozhengyuan, Yellow Crane Tower, and Yuelu Academy. 🔅There are three exhibition halls inside, namely the Yangtze Civilization Museum, the Perception Civilization Hall, and the Beilin Dahe Life Museum.
✅Yangtze Civilization Museum: It mainly displays fish in the Yangtze River Basin.
✅Perception Civilization Hall: This is suitable for older children, displaying ancient Chinese civilization, human evolution, introduction of Chinese traditional culture and art, etc.
✅Beilin Dahe Life Museum: This is where the children will scream. Large-scale animal specimens on land, sea and air are here. The 1:1 size simulation production allows children to observe animals at close range.
The Natural History Museum at the Garden Expo Park is seriously underrated. There are indeed many vivid, lovely and interesting landscapes in the scenic area. There are also student speeches, which are very good.
It is a very large and beautiful place. There was no such attraction in Wuhan when I was in college. More than ten years later, I brought my children here and it was really an eye-opener. I hope that Wuhan Garden Expo Park will become better and better, and Wuhan will become more and more developed.
**Wuhan Garden Expo Park** is the main venue of the 10th China International Garden Expo in 2015. It is located in Qiaokou District, Wuhan City, covering an area of about 213 hectares. The park was built by ecological restoration of the original landfill. It brings together hundreds of urban exhibition gardens at home and abroad, showing diverse garden styles and cultural characteristics. The main highlights include: - **Ecological restoration**: turning waste into treasure and becoming a model of urban green space. - **Garden Expo**: covering traditional Chinese gardens, modern landscapes and international exhibition gardens. - **Cultural experience**: Hankouli Retro Street, Yangtze River Civilization Museum (Natural Museum), etc. - **Leisure and entertainment**: suitable for walking, cycling, photography and parent-child travel. **Ticket**: about 60 yuan (discount ticket 30 yuan), Wuhan Tourism Annual Card can enter the park for free. **Transportation**: Metro Line 7 Garden Expo Park Station, about 10 minutes walk to the East Gate. Suitable for tourists who like nature, gardens and culture, it is recommended to visit in spring and autumn for a better experience.
Wuhan Garden Expo Park is very large, and Metro Line 7 goes directly to it. The Garden Expo Park has 117 exhibition gardens from various places, as well as three large indoor exhibition halls. It is very tight to visit in one day. So you have to speed up and bring food and water. First visit the three major exhibition halls, and then visit the 117 gardens one by one. I recommend Quanzhou Garden, Chengdu Garden, and Chongqing Garden. Hankouli is located outside the east gate of the Garden Expo Park. There are many time-honored Wuhan restaurants, and you can dine there.
This year's Garden Expo Park is very cost-effective and worth a visit. Price: All scenic spots in Hubei Province are free in 2020, saving more than 100 tickets. Transportation: Metro Line 7 is directly accessible, very convenient; Scenery: The Garden Expo Park is in the golden autumn of October, and the chrysanthemums of various shapes at the door are dazzling, which is very suitable for taking pictures; the landscapes of various places inside are often in the winding paths, elegant and quiet; the Chinese 🇨🇳 red paper umbrellas on the main road are also suitable for taking pictures; interspersed with children wearing Hanfu, cardamom girls, and noble ladies..., and a new amusement park has been added to the courtyard. In short, the Golden Autumn Garden Expo Park is a good place to raise children, take a walk, and fall in love...
I went to the Garden Expo Park on October 25th. Bring snacks, water, ID cards, and wear soft and comfortable shoes and you can set off. You need to queue up to enter the Garden Expo Park, but the ticket check is very fast. Just swipe your ID card to others. If the ID card is demagnetized or unusable, you can also scan the QR code for the reservation. It is very user-friendly. After entering, I suggest that you go directly to the Natural History Museum (note that the Natural History Museum requires a separate ticket reservation) because the Garden Expo Park is very large. Don't waste time and energy in other ordinary parks such as Kunming Garden. You can visit other parks after visiting the Natural History Museum. I wasted too much energy in some parks that day. We had no strength to visit the Natural History Museum later. We went home without finishing 2/3 of the tour. It's a pity! 😔 Although I didn't finish the tour, my entire foot was very painful when I went back. I felt that my legs were no longer my own. . . . . . . .
The ticket to Wuhan Garden Expo Park is 60 yuan, and the Wuhan Tourism Annual Card is free. I have been there several times, both during the day and at the night lantern festival. Wuhan Garden Expo Park has opened a new subway line directly to it, which is more convenient and much faster than taking the bus before. This Garden Expo Park is relatively large, with many exhibition gardens, and you can walk around for a day. There are representative scenic spots and exhibition gardens in cities across the country, as well as exhibition gardens in various cities in Hubei Province, and several master gardens are all good. It is recommended to visit the various exhibition gardens during the day. In addition to the exhibition gardens, the Hankouli buildings at the east gate and the Yangtze River Civilization Museum in the park are all worth seeing. During the Spring Festival every year, Wuhan Garden Expo Park will hold a lantern festival. The night view of the lantern festival is amazing, and there are many tourists. The Garden Expo Park Lantern Festival is recommended! (Attached below is a picture of the Wuhan Garden Expo Park Lantern Festival)
Wuhan Garden Expo Garden consists of Jingshan, Chushui, Garden Art Museum, Yangtze Civilization Museum and 117 exhibition gardens. Among them, there are 18 scenic spots in Jingshan, such as Fir Wetland, Flowering Sea, Seeking Fang Valley, Quechaping, etc. There are more than 100 native plants in Hubei. Upon the top of the mountain, you can see "Alpine Flowing Water" landscape. There are 18 sceneries in Chushui, such as Xianghe Island, Pufeng Pier and Yunmeng Lake. Red-crowned cranes fly on Xianghe Island at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. every day. Landscape Art Museum, located on the west side of Inner Square of the North Entrance, exhibits classical garden art all over the world; Yangtze River Civilization Museum, located on the North Bank of Chushui River, is divided into South Museum and North Museum to show the development process of civilization in the Yangtze River Basin. 117 exhibition gardens are very distinctive and interesting. You can't really see all these scenery in one day. If you like it, you can go several times. Now the ticket is about 55 yuan, which can be said to be quite affordable.
